ODDS ANALYSIS

There still isn't a lot of respect for Orlando City even though it clearly has a much better team this year than it had last season. The Lions have even already come to the Empire State and won this year at New York City FC.

That said, the Red Bulls still have a huge home field advantage, and that's why they're odds-on choices in this game at -130.

The total is fairly par for the course by MLS standards at 2.5 and -130 vig on the over.

KEY INJURIES

Adrian Heath has a relatively healthy side right now, but that doesn't mean his Lions are without problems. Conor Donovan has a torn ACL and will miss this season, while Cristian Higuita probably won't make the trip to Red Bull Arena thanks to a groin strain. What's worse for OCSC is that Antonio Nocerino was suspended by the discipline committee for this match.

New York is playing without Gideon Baah and Damien Perrinelle at the back, while Gonzalo Veron also won't be available for selection in this game.

LIVE BETTING

Orlando City will complain that poor refereeing decisions have cost it valuable points in recent games. Matches against both New England and Philadelphia were ended with changing results in stoppage time. The Lions had a 2-1 victory in hand before giving it back in the dying seconds to the Revs last weekend, and the week prior, the Union stole the victory in the last gasps. That's nothing new for the Lions though, as they already have four matches this season in which the result changed in stoppage time.

The Red Bulls have to be wondering when their day will come. They've been beaten in four straight matches since a thrilling 4-3 victory over Houston at home. The club hasn't had a single clean sheet this year, and its goals have been few and far between as well. For a team which won the Eastern Conference in the regular season last year, this 1-0-6 start has to be tremendously concerning.

QUICK PICK

Orlando City really has figured out its offense, but it's going to need to get its defending in order to have a shot at winning this match. The team has allowed eight goals already this term, and so many of those have come right in the dying moments.

That said, this is still a young team learning how to play and win together, and this might be the perfect spot to really come together. Kevin Molino and Kaka have played well together, and the last time Cyle Larin came here to Red Bull Arena, he bagged himself a hat trick.

We're just not sure what the Red Bulls have been up to this term. They've already allowed 15 goals, and their absentees in the back are really killing the unit. The argument could be made that this team just isn't as good this year as it was last season, and if that's the case, there's certainly tremendous value on an Orlando City team desperate to move up the ladder just a bit in the Eastern Conference.
