2020 NHL All Star Game Odds Analysis

For the past four years the National Hockey League All Star Game has actually been three games in one. And fans have taken to this format with far greater enthusiasm. All Star teams comprised of the four divisions, (Metropolitan, Atlantic, Central, and Pacific), compete in a mini tournament that has proven to be a considerable upgrade from the old formats that had become dreadfully stale and embarrassing to the league. This year the city of St. Louis, home of the defending Stanley Cup champion Blues, will host the NHL All Star Game for the third time. As the old adage goes, “Timing is Everything” and this has proven to be a magical 12 months of hockey in the Gateway City.

The Pacific Division was supposed to be coached by Gerard Gallant of the Vegas Golden Knights. However, Gallant was unexpectedly fired last week. As a result, Rick Tocchet of the Arizona Coyotes will serve behind the bench for the Pacific Division.
