NFL Wild Card Round Parlay Picks - NFL Playoffs Lines

NFL Wild Card Round Parlay Picks

The NFL’s second season begins with Super Wild Card Weekend where 12 teams get the month-long tournament started with the two remaining clubs squaring off in Super Bowl LVIII. It also gives bettors another chance to hit it big with a NFL parlay at Crypto Sportsbooks. Six games are played over the weekend with the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Miami Dolphins in one of two Saturday matchups. The subplots abound in Sunday’s encounters with former Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy taking his No. 2 seed Dallas Cowboys into a home matchup with the Packers. Sunday night has the Lions hosting the Rams as 3-point favorite. The clubs swapped QBs a few years ago with Matthew Stafford taking the Rams to a Super Bowl title in his first season. The Lions are looking for Jared Goff to do the same. I closed the regular season in a slump with my NFL parlays but will use the playoffs as my second season.

It’s not how you start rather it’s how you finish. And going by that mantra the regular season was a failure. After a 0 for 3 Week 16 NFL parlay I went with a four-teamer in the final weekend. Well, that didn’t go so well with only one winning pick on the ticket. I’m slumping worse than Mac Jones, but unlike the Pats’ QB I get a chance to make things right over Super Wild Card Weekend. I thought the Eagles would get things turnaround just in time for the playoffs. Instead they lost for the fifth time in six games giving me a loss as a 5.5-point favorite against the Giants. The Bears were my moneyline pick and they floundered in a loss to Green Bay. And things are so bad for the Pats they even lost to the Jets on Sunday ending their 15-game winning streak against their AFC East rival. The Chiefs and Bolts prevented me from having another ohfer playing below the closing total with both starting QBs on the sideline.

I’m backing the two biggest favorites on the wild card board since they’ve both been dominant at home. The Bills were 7-1 SU and 4-4 ATS on their own turf during the season and have an edge when playing cold weather games in western New York. They’re also the hottest team in the NFL right now riding a five-game winning streak that propelled them to the AFC East title. The offensive numbers haven’t been as gaudy as in years past but Josh Allen had another solid season throwing for 4,306 yards and 29 touchdowns. In addition he added 15 rushing scores. Turnovers were an issue for Allen with 18 picks, but when he values the football there are few better. Pittsburgh finished with three straight wins behind Mason Rudolph to reach the playoffs, but I’m not convinced he’s the answer. And besides, with sack leader T.J. Watt ruled out the defense takes a step back allowing Allen and the Bills a chance for a big outing.

Only one team was better than the Bills on their home turf and that was the Cowboys, who were a perfect 8-0 at ATT Stadium. They got some help maintaining that spotless record in a win over Detroit in Week 16, but otherwise dominated teams. And they have are exuding confidence after a road trouncing of Washington that secured the NFC East title. Dak Prescott had his best season throwing for over 4,500 yards with 36 TDs and the defense can shut opponents down. The Packers are back in the postseason with Jordan Love running the show. He got better as the season progressed, but the playoffs are a different story and Big D will be a tough nut to crack

Lastly, with the Eagles in a free fall I’m backing the Bucs plus the points in their Monday night matchup. With a chance to win the NFC East playing their last four games against teams that were at the time below .500, the Eagles couldn’t get it done, and there’s no reason to believe things will change. Injuries are an issue with Jalen Hurts busting up a finger and A.J. Brown going down last week. And the defense has been a sieve. The Eagles are a different than the club that beat Tampa 25-11 in Week 3.
