NFL Week 12 Parlay Picks

It’s not often that you have a good time when watching your NFL parlay fail. From a pure drama and suspense angle last weekend was full of both. Once again I can say I came close but the eventual result was a losing ticket. After hitting on over 60 percent of my individual picks for the season, the last two weeks weren’t very good. I was on the verge of another winning parlay at my bitcoin sportsbook but the Cardinals spoiled it by not scoring after getting into Houston territory on three consecutive fourth quarter drives. Like I’ve said just about every week, it’s hard to win a parlay and the unpredictable nature of the NFL just adds to the complexity of the assignment. With seven weeks remaining in the regular season it’s time for me to get back to winning, which starts again in Week 12.

Week 12 NFL Parlay Card Wagers

My Sunday night pick of the Vikings on the moneyline really didn’t matter since the Cards ruined my parlay earlier in the day. It was an exciting game nonetheless with the Broncos eking out a 21-20 victory with a late touchdown. And it sucks that Minnesota had its five-game winning streak end with the help of the officials. Not that the call made the difference, but a spearing tackle by Denver’s Kareem Jackson that wasn’t flagged caused a crucial Josh Dobbs fumble. The Broncos scored a field goal on the possession and won the game by a point. For the second straight week the Browns helped me get one of my picks correct. Betting UNDER the total of 36.5 proved fruitful in Cleveland’s 13-10 win over Pittsburgh. Every team is in action in Week 12 offering up plenty of options for a NFL parlay.

Jets +10

Jaguars -1

Browns / Broncos UNDER 35

Something had to be done to try and save the season and the Jets announced that Zach Wilson has been demoted to QB3 for Friday’s matchup with the Miami Dolphins. Tim Boyle gets the starting nod with veteran Trevor Siemian backing him up. After the offense struggled most of the season under Wilson but especially in the last three games, it’s hard to imagine anyone on the team having confidence in the former No. 2 overall draft pick. The Jets failed to score a touchdown in 40 offensive possessions until hitting paydirt Sunday against the Bills.

As if playing the first place team in your division isn’t enough, the Jets players are auditioning for jobs while still having an outside chance at making the playoffs. A defense that had been so good just got worn down allowing a season-high point total in the 32-6 loss. This sounds more like an endorsement for Miami but I’m going against the Fins since they’ve slowed down after a hot start. They had lost two of three before taking out Vegas on Sunday and they scored 20 points or less in three of their last four games. The Jets will be motivated and catching 10 points is a bonus.

The Jaguars may have been caught off guard when they lost to the Texans in Week 3. And considering what has transpired since then this is a critical matchup with first place in the AFC South on the line. After that 37-17 setback the Jags caught fire winning five in a row to take over the top spot. They rebounded nicely from a thumping by the 49ers to beat Tennessee 34-14 on Sunday and they are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games. I don’t think the Jags are taking their opponent lightly this week and the rematch in Houston will get me another win on my NFL parlay.

Backing the Browns the last two weeks paid off so why not go back to the well. With Deshaun Watson sidelined the offense will suffer. We saw that on Sunday with Dorian Thompson-Robinson compiling 165 yards on 43 pass attempts. He also threw an interception, but the defense stood tall once again. The Browns lead the league in total defense allowing only 243.3 yards per game while giving up the fourth-fewest points per game. The Broncos have won four straight but the offense is still limited allowing this game to fall below the total.
