The-Bachelorette-Entertainment-Season11-2015

For her first group date of the season, "Bachelorette" Kaitlyn Bristowe invited eight bachelors to a boxing gym, where they were trained by a team led by legendary boxer Muhammed Ali's daughter. This was, at times, more entertaining than the recent Pacquaio/Mayweather bout, but I digress.

Real contender Kupah ogled a bit too much at Ms. Ali, and I knew where it would bite him later in the episode. He's got an LL Cool J swagger, and a good shot at getting that final rose, but he's got to play it wayyyy cooler.

The boxing tournament culminated with a match between Jared and Ben Z. in the finals. Ben Z. toppled Jared. For this Jared received a trip to the hospital and Ben Z. the group date rose.

Clint, an architectural engineer, made a good impression during his one-on-one date. They took part in an underwater photo shoot, which is a standard issue date, right? Kaitlyn gave Clint a rose at the end, and declared to the cameras that he's "just a hunk of a man."

Seven of the other bachelors were brought to a comedy club for the second one-on-one date, where they would try their hand at stand-up comedy. Shockingly, this was not entirely awkward. Afterward, Kaitlyn had a make-out session with Joe, but then opted to give the group date rose to JJ.

Kaitlyn's first real drama came in the form of Kupah, as mentioned. He wanted more attention, and she pointed out his was elsewhere in the ring and so on.

"To be honest I felt the connection until right now, and now I feel like we're on different pages," she told him. Until they make out, that is. But will they get a chance to?

She informed him she was sending him home before the rose ceremony, but he demanded a second chance. The “Bachelorette” crew tried to conduct a post-elimination interview with him outside the mansion but things became so heated that Kaitlyn stepped outside to intervene. We'll find out what happened next when a new episode of “The Bachelorette” airs next week.

Meantime, those to keep an eye on (early contenders, as it were):

Clint

The 27-year-old architectural engineer from Chicago.

Jonathan

A 33-year-old automotive spokesman from Detroit considers himself to be a romantic. "I try to always listen and attend to a woman's needs. Not just in the bedroom, but all around," he said. "That can be very romantic to the right woman.

Joshua

This 31-year-old industrial welder from Kuna, Idaho has nine tattoos. If he could be any superhero, he'd be "The Invisible Man." "What guy wouldn't want to be in a room full of women to listen to them talk to try to understand them better?" he asked.

Kupah

The troublemaking Boston boy said he would choose - surprise! - Mark Wahlberg as his ideal lunch partner ("hometown icon, still remains humble") and he most admires his mom, calling her a "single parent [with a] lack of resources and education... [who] she raised two awesome, law-abiding citizens."

I'm telling you, don't count Kupah out yet.
