Bachelor-Aug28

Bristowe revisited? Fans of "The Bachelorette" are of the belief that they figured out who this past season's winner was halfway through the season, thanks to a social media posting while the show was still unraveling. Looks like the same thing may've happened this past week on "Paradise."

Jade Roper, one half of one of the more popular couples this time around (with Tanner Tolbert), did a bit of live broadcasting via Periscope after Sunday's episode, and might have inadvertently given away a spoiler as to how the season ends.

She accidentally allowed Periscope to display the fact that instead of being at home in Los Angeles, Jade was hanging out in Kansas City, Tanner's hometown.

On one hand, that's not much of a surprise at all since these two got together in the first episode and haven't spent a moment apart since, and with zero drama to boot. On the other hand - was it an accident at all?

As for Joe Bailey, the hits just kept coming.

After getting dumped by Samantha Steffen on Monday, he had to watch the couple he wronged, Mikey Tenerelli and Juelia Kinney, get whisked off on a private jet for an overnight date to Guadalajara, and that was just the beginning.

While in Mexico, they were treated to a Lucha Libre wrestling match, after which they discussed their future as a couple. After coming to the conclusion that Mikey is the man of her dreams, they crashed in the fantasy suite. Together.

Back at the house, the cast began to question Samantha's intentions. Joe, looking to clear his name as the house villain, pulled her aside and threatened to expose her as a liar by revealing her text messages urging him to "do whatever it took" to receive a rose (see last week).

Meanwhile, Kirk DeWindt surprised Carly Waddell with an impromptu fishing date where they had their turn at discussing their future as a couple. Carly was summarily convinced she had found her husband.

The next day, Joe decided that the door on his romance with Samantha was "not completely shut.” He solicited advice from Ashley I., who suggested that he attempt a fresh start with Samantha. But later that night, Joe’s attempt to win her back failed, leaving him royally embarrassed.

Things went from bad to worse when Justin Reich from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season arrived on the scene with a date card and designs on Samantha. Despite Joe’s protests, Samantha agreed to join Justin on his date, and her behavior left the cast questioning who the real villain of this season is.

The episode ended in a cliffhanger, with a distraught Joe contemplating whether to stay or go home. My money is on him staying.

Immediately following the show on "After Paradise," Ben Higgins, second runner-up from Kaitlyn's season, was officially announced as the next Bachelor.
