Forreward this week, everyone was paired up, but since there was seven of them, one had to sit it out. After drawing straws, it wound up being Jason - the proverbial short straw of the lot.

In the end, Michele and Cydney won the reward — Cydney’s first win — and they got to choose to bring one person with them on a helicopter ride and a chicken dinner. They chose Aubrey, since...ya know, she hadn’t eaten and all.

When it came time for immunity challenge, it was all about memory and speed. Julia and Michele took an early lead, but only Michele rocked the word puzzle aspect, and she took home the necklace.

Back at camp, Aubry was of the belief that Jason is a ticking time bomb and needed to go. She said Jason was polarizing for the jury and didn’t think he can win it. She said Julia was well-rounded, plus has virtually no blood on her hands.

When it came time to talk strategy, Jason and Julia tried convincing Michele and Cydney to blindside Tai; but Cydney, Aubry and Joe were ready to send home Jason — and thought Michele was on their side. During tribal, Jason tried — and I’d say, made some good points — to show everyone that Tai was not to be trusted.

The jury came in – Neal, Nick, Debbie, and Scot. Jeff talked to Julia first and she acknowledge that this was a crucial point in the game. She said Michele was the only person who could feel 100% safe tonight. Jason agreed.

Julia added that she thought Michele and Cydney were on the bottom of the five and Aubry was holding Joe’s hand to the bitter end, while Tai has the potential to win the whole thing.

Jason voted first, writing down Tai’s name. Aubry wrote down Julia’s name and promised she wouldn’t cross it out this time. Jeff went to count the votes and came back to do the idol call. Tai whispered to Aubry, asking if he should play his idol.

She says she thinks he’s safe but it was ultimately up to him. Tai didn’t play his idol. The votes were: Tai, Julia, Tai, Julia, Julia, Julia. Michele hugged her as she stood up to go take her torch to Jeff. Scot looked angry, and Jason frustrated. Jeff snuffed it and Julia was gone.

Michele couldn't stop crying, but Julia later confided that while she’s bummed out she is also proud of the way she played as one of the youngest players ever.

So, when it came down to it, neither Jason nor Tai were voted out. There were actually no votes at all for Jason, curiously enough; instead everyone but Jason and Julia voted for Julia (yes, even her BFF).
