What a surprising ending to this week’s installment. Especially for me. After turning in some of the season’s most consistent, best routines, Fuller House star Jodie Sweetin delivered maybe her all-time best this past Monday night, which earned her a perfect score… and got her shown the door to boot! Yes, Sweetin, along with professional partner Keo Motsepe, were cut loose at the end of the broadcast.

With only six couples left in the competition, Dancing has reached that point in the season where front-runners falter, and dark horses start to make legitimate cases for the championship. Monday’s episode may have been the most entertaining so far from Season 22.

Ginger Zee and pro Val Chmerkovskiy (Argentine Tango)—Ginger’s Week 6 jazz routine, set to Janet Jackson’s “Nasty,” was a bit of a mess, truth be told. Butthe GMA meteorologist clearly learned how to look like a badass when the dance requires it somewhere along the way. The Janet number found Ginger grinning and smirking at moments when she needed to put her game face on, butGinger has also developed a real chemistry with Val and she completely committed to making herroutine truly sexy.Judges’ Score: 30/30

Jodie Sweetin and pro Keo Motsepe (Jive)— Jodie’s time onDancingmay have been cut short by the end of Monday’s broadcast, but thisgospel-inspired jive, was fast, fun and a blast from beginning to end. Plus, Jodie’s exclamation after receiving her first perfect score — “Mommy, I did it!” — genuinely exhilarating, for both Sweetin and us watching. Judges’ Score: 30/30

Nyle DiMarco and pro Peta Murgatroyd (Paso Doble)— Their decision to perform part of the number in complete silence — thus giving the audience a glimpse at what Nyle is experiencing as a deaf contestant — was profoundly moving and insightful.Judges’ Score: 29/30

Wanyá Morris and pro Lindsay Arnold (Jive)— Lindsay dropped her handkerchief on the ballroom floor, which resulted inWanyá falling out of step for several bars, and almost down. It was tough to watch, especially as Wanya had gone from fan favorite to judges favorite to potential winner.Judges’ Score: 25/30

And now, Monday’s full results:

THREE COUPLES IN JEOPARDY Jodie Sweetin and pro Keo Motsepe Antonio Brown and pro Sharna Burgess Wanyá Morris and pro Lindsay Arnold

ELIMINATED Jodie Sweetin and pro Keo Motsepe

Okay, so fact is I've spent a good portion of these recaps, for this specific show, touting Sweetin as the eventual winner. And that's clearly not going to happen. My bad. So who then? As of right now, it's truly anyone's game. Brown has been coming on strong, but I wouldn't count Wanya out yet. As for Zee, well, she's the network darling. Threeway tie anyone?
