Week 7 boasted two rounds: solo dances set to iconic songs, plus a men vs. women freestyle war, all culminating in a somewhat rushed double elimination most of us saw coming.

The first to go: NFL star Von Miller and his partner Witney Carson. Well, most of us saw this pair going home anyway; but the second pair was somewhat of a surprise. We'll get to that.

Jodie Sweetin and her partner danced the Quick Step to Stevie Wonder‘s “For Once in My Life,” and even though she struggled with injuries, she nailed it, proving yet again that Sweetin may be the one to beat here. Carrie Ann gave them an eight but they also snapped up two nines. I actually expected them to score higher.

Kim Fields "and co." performed a Samba to“ABC” by the Jackson 5, and Len actually called it her best dance yet. They scored threenines, and were - as we've seen before -very excited. Unfortunately, enthusiasm aside, Kim was the second contestant sent home this double elimination week.

Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd worked hard… and it worked out. They danced a Foxtrot to U2‘s “Beautiful Day.” Theyalmostlanded two tens, and a nine. But it actually ended up being two nines and one ten — Bruno forgot that he wrote down a nine. So zany!

Antonio Brown and his dance partner went gothic for the Tango to “Paint It Black” by The Rolling Stones and it included a fewmistakes and missteps, as the judges duly pointed out. They earned eights across the board — and yes, there was a "wardrobe malfunction," which you may or may not have heard about since.

Wanya Morrishad a tough week, thanks in large part to Boyz II Men obligations — but they pulled it together to do a solid Foxtrot to“I Say a Little Prayer” by Aretha Franklin. The judges gave he and his partner nines all across the table.

Ginger Zee had to recover from some harsh criticism last weekin order to nail a Viennese Waltz to “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston. They got the first perfect 30 of the season. So, I'd say mission accomplished.

Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas were the last pair before the team dances and they took on the Jive to Tina Turner‘s “Proud Mary.” They also got a perfect 30.

Absolutely no one was surprised to see Flutie go, but this is truly becoming quite the contest, whereas I've long since believed Sweetin the shoo-in. She's still in the running but has her fair share of competitors, Fields and Wanya among them.
