Night two brought another six roommates into the "Big Brother" house. A rundown of the latest arrivals:

Liz (Florida), a marketing coordinator. Liz said her main adversity to get over in the house will be “jealous girls.”

Jason (Massachusetts), an overnight grocery store clerk that lives in his mom’s basement. His bedroom is decorated in bright neon colors and he has a giant dollar sign over his bed. He’s got that good deep Boston accent like he’s Affleck’s little brother in The Town and he might be my current favorite houseguest right now.

Vanessa (Vegas), a professional poker player. She’s one of the top pokerer’s in the world and has won more than $4.5 million in her career. She wants to keep it a secret so she says she’s a DJ. Remember, Da’Vonne wants to also keep being a poker dealer a secret—because of being able to bluff and read people. It makes sense for Vanessa because usually people with a lot of money or a huge built-in following get voted out early. Also, Vanessa studied Game Theory at Duke.

Josh (Pennsylvania), a self-described "rock star dentist." Josh got his key to the house on a tray of dentist tools while he had a patient in the chair.

Becky (Colorado), a retail manager. She’s an outdoorsy person. Her parents were hippies. She is fun and friendly.

Steve (New York), who is studying to be a musical engineer, found his Big Brother key in a bucket of K’Nex. Steve’s mom helped him pack. He is a super fan and the houseguests view him as a threat because of his resemblance to Ian Terry, winner of BB15.

The six new contestants were lined up in front of the house and told that eight people were already inside and that the Battle of the Block and Big Brother Takeover twists were in effect. They then went screaming into the house, got the tour, and met the other players.

They did another roundtable to all get familiar. All the houseguests were aware that there were still two empty seats at the table.

The takeover was by Phil Coogan, the host of The Amazing Race. When Coogan showed up onscreen someone in the house recognized him, whispering, “Phil!” Over the years a bunch of "Big Brother" contestants have gone on to Race; Phil introduced the last two houseguests, Jackie and Jeff from last season’s The Amazing Race!

Jackie and Jeff were fan favorites on their last reality series, and definitely created an immediate tension. They will be tough competitors.

The second HOH competition started up and someone had to sit out. Only the new houseguests competed.

As this episode show ended, Coogan let Da’Vonne and Vanessa know that because they sat out the competition they have something coming to them, but he didn’t reveal what. Da'Vonne has emerged as an early favorite on this latest season.
