Houseguests James Huling and Jeff Weldon gave the house one last plea in hopes of staying in the game, but they did it without the benefit of Gronk.

There were eleven votes up for grabs, with six being the magic number leading to eviction and no chance for a tie-breaker.

By a vote of 7-4, Jeff was evicted from Big Brother, a contestant who wasn't doing much of anything in the first place. Good riddance.

Jeff was shocked to find out Steve voted for him and expected some pause from Audrey.

Fact is, Jeff got eliminated because he could not keep his mouth shut. Austin and Vanessa were plotting against him from the start but he gave them the ammo they needed to backdoor him onto the block.

The live episode was basically a "Farewell to Jeff," with him trying desperately to grab a few votes on the way out. No such luck. Jeff already did Amazing Race, so don’t be surprised if you see Jeff on ten more reality shows over the next 7-12 years. Jeff didn’t even know who the Head of Household was and also seemed to forget that the Battle of the Block is a thing. Talk about going in blind.

The ongoing twin twist is going strong except everyone knows that Liz is playing with a twin. The payoff is going to be in week 5 when Julia enters the house and everyone says “I knew it” all at once. The one glitch was that Liz and Julia recorded their goodbye message to Jeff saying they voted him out but Liz changed her mind after recording it and voted to keep him because she knew she could control him with her flirting.

Austin’s really developing feelings for Liz, which is dangerous in the game but happens. Clay and Shelli still haven’t kissed, which fans are desperately waiting for.

The Head of Household competition involved a group of dancers channeling the Fly Girls and the houseguests had to memorize what they did and answer questions based on their dance routine because it was '90's week. Everyone got out so quickly that the dancers didn’t have a chance to do their second routine.

This, in a nutshell, is the joy of live television. Everyone was simultaneously frantic and static, unsure of how to fill the time, as they had not expected it to end so quickly. A producer somewhere got read the riot act, believe me.

Shelli and Liz won, so their secret alliance is running the house right now. Johnny Mac managed to secure protection from the controlling alliance until at least ten people are left by throwing the Battle of the Block.

If Clay or Shelli don't get "back-doored" soon they will win if they don't get separated. Shelli has already won two HOH's out of four. Shelli is a very real threat, as is Clay, the latter thanks in large part to his strength and athleticism.

Jackie still hasn’t done much of anything but that might change now that Jeff is out. Sunday is noms and Battle of the Block. Wednesday is veto. Another live eviction on Thursday.
