2015-big-brother-Betting-Lines

This time last week, Clay and Shelli were running the house. Does the word "star-crossed" mean anything to you?

Clay and Shelli brought upon their downfall by bringing their own worst enemy to life. Shelli was concerned about the “other side of the house” before there actually was an “other side of the house.”

James and Meg and Jackie, and even Becky were a barely aligned at best. Now, James refers to them as his “team."

Last week the Sixth Sense Alliance was certain Jason was the big threat. But Jason only talked big.

James wanted to talk to Austin about what information Shelli and Clay passed on to him. James summed up Austin as such: “I heard the Judas character was voting crazy.”

Austin decided that this meant that Shelli and Clay had thrown the entire Sixth Sense Alliance under the bus. Vanessa took this personally, of course. She is very passionate, and seems physically pained whenever she has to go against a fellow gameplayer. She’s a fan favorite to win this game.

THE VOTE

I was genuinely surprised at how the vote went down last week. James and crewmembers, Meg and Jackie, seemed laser-focused on Shelli.

All nine voting houseguests declared that Clay had to go home, and he played sacrificial lamb afterwards, saying of Shelli: “This has been her dream, to do this. I didn’t want to be the one to take that from her. You spend 24 hours a day with somebody, 7 days a week…she’s been there emotionally, personally, on a game level.” Message boarders were moved.

The new Head of Household competition began. And what a competition it was! The five remaining members of Sixth Sense seem constantly in jeopardy of splintering: Liz was caught between Austin and Julia, who didn’t seem to get along very well; meanwhile, Vanessa and Shelli seemed destined to form a more powerful duo now that Clay is gone.

Shelli seems a front-runner to many fans right now, but my money is on Vanessa. Sure, she's a target, but she is repeatedly avoiding being put up on the block - it's impressive.

Who'll be put up this week? My guess is Liz and Julia or Liz and Austin.

But there is another player to keep an eye on for the win: Jackie. Taking on punishments, having been a part of one of the BB Takeover twists, and outlasting her Amazing Race partner on Big Brother are her accolades. Her loyalty to James & Meg could get her far.

Jackie during this midseason is starting to blossom. She’s starting to learn more about the game from the super fans in the house as well as use her social skills to pick up on others. I say it's between her or Vanessa to win Big Brother Season 17. Then again - heck, we're only halfway through the season.
