Dalton Rapattoni versus La'Porsha Renae? That's what everyone seems to think.

Personally, I see Mackenzie Bourg or Sonika Vaid as potential spoilers there. If we don't get a Jennifer Hudson/Chris Daughtry surprise-expulsion of Dalton or La'Porsha, and they wind up heading towards a head-to-head, the top three is going to be an interesting episode.

Rapattoni could totally run away with this thing if he didn't come off as so fragile whenever critiqued or clearly not in his comfort zone while performing. He could benefit from mustering up some of Nick Fradiani's (last year's "Idol") ease while singing a song assigned to him.

That said, the kid's a force to be reckoned with when he's rearranging a song of his choice, and that's why his odds here at BookMaker are a strong +336 odds at BookMaker.eu going into the Top Five performances.

Only La'Porsha bests him in this regard, with a solid +182 odds. It's easy to see why - or, hear why - whenever this gal opens her mouth. Her debut in the Top 5 was India Ari's "Ready For Love," and she worked the song out so much Judge Keith Urban confessed to realizing halfway through that he was enjoying it as a person in an audience and not taking it in like a judge.

First one through to the Top 5 was Trent Harmon, easily the least likable of the lot. He's got odds of +754, and America wanted to hear him do the hit song "Counting Stars," which he tanked.

Rapattoni fared better, but not by much, with the voting audience choosing Linkin Park's "Numb" for him to do. He gobbled up the few compliments that came his way, eager to please. Dalton, La'Porsha and Trent made up the top three going into the Top 5.

Mackenzie Bourg's name was called fourth. He fell as short as the other guys did with the audience-choice thing, but I still expect his +896 odds to change shortly. He is someone to keep your eye on, and both Dalton and La'Porsha definitely should, too. If he won this farewell season - and he could - it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Sonika Vaid rounded out the Top 5, with +420 odds at BookMaker. I'm a fan. She's a consistent performer and could give the boys a run for their money, but if it winds up being girl-against-girl, put your money on La'Porsha.
