The great Manny Pacquiao will make his last pro fight, hoping to ride off into the sunset with another win over Timothy Bradley Jr. The bout marks their third meeting, and although they are tied with one win apiece, Bradley’s victory was universally considered an egregious decision.
While the Filipino superstar’s historic career should be celebrated, he recently became the subject of an ugly controversy when he stated that gays were worse than animals. He was immediately dropped by Nike even though he tried to explain the context. Luckily for him, winning tends to make people forget, and Pacquiao is very good at winning.
But don’t expect it to be a cakewalk for Manny. He’s coming off a shoulder surgery, and his 37-year old body has a ton of wear and tear on it. While he’s been on the sidelines, Bradley has been active and improving.

Whatever the case may be, the former longtime champion will have an immediate rematch to try and prove that the first bout was a fluke.
When the undisputed heavyweight title of the world is on the line, people pay attention. Klitschko may never be a mainstream sports star, but he’s undoubtedly the best heavyweight of this generation. Now the division is wide open.
