Boxing betting online: The U.S. will get to see cruiserweight champion Marco Huck – 38-2-1, 26 KOs – up close for the first time when he heads to New Jersey to face mandatory title challenger fighter Krzysztof Glowacki – 24-0, 15 KOs on August 14.

The two will meet on a Premier Boxing Champions card headlined by heavyweights Antonio Tarver and Steve Cunningham.

CURRENT ODDS

Marco Huck is the heavy favorite going into the bout, with a minus-500 money line. Glowacki is more than a 3-to-1 underdog at plus+350. Clearly, Huck is getting a beatable opponent for his stateside debut. The over/under in this 12-round championship bout is likely to be set at 11.5 rounds, with the over being the more expensive bet.

ZEE GERMANS ARE COMING

It’s about time that we get to see Marco Huck in the states, and on free TV no less. The German has held the cruiserweight title since 2009, making 13 successful defenses. With a win over Glowacki, Huck could set a divisional record for title defense, as he’s currently tied with Nelson for the most defenses in the cruiserweight division.

For Glowacki, this bout marks his first fight outside of his native country. The Polish contender has turned a few heads since going pro in 2008, walking through guys like Matty Askin, Varol Vekiloglu and Thierry Karl en route to his shot at the world title. Most recently, he bested Nuri Seferi with a unanimous decision in January 2015.

“The Pole is unbeaten and has a good KO ratio,” Huck said. “I am, however, confident that at the end of the night the fans both on site and in front of their TVs, will be celebrating with me. Boxing fans in America want to be entertained by the warriors inside the squared circle and my style of fighting provides just that: entertainment. Mission USA can begin.”

FIGHT ANALYSIS AND PREDICTION

This fight is all about Huck. While he’s in a relatively thin division, 13 title defenses at the world-championship level cannot be ignored. While Glowacki is a promising fighter, he’s just not ready for the likes of Huck, who is by far the best fighter he’s faced to date. Huck has been a star in Europe for a while now, and we’ll see why come August 15. The pick is Huck to win an easy unanimous decision.
