NBA Sunday, March 10, 2024 Parlay Picks

The NBA betting week concludes with a nine-game slate on Sunday, March 10 with some good matchups you can use to build a winning NBA parlay. Three of the four teams battling for the top seed in the Western Conference take to the hardwood with current leader Minnesota visiting the LA Lakers in the second game of ESPN’s doubleheader. The Wolves and Oklahoma City Thunder have been at the top of the standings for most of the season. The pressure of being in a playoff race might be getting to the Thunder, who dropped two of three games following a loss to the Lakers on Monday. They also lost by 14 in San Antonio. Despite that OKC remains a profitable outfit with payouts in over 63 percent of their games and hosts Memphis.

No one is questioning the appointment of Doc Rivers as coach of the Bucks now that his team is on a roll. For the second time in a week they’ll take on the LA Clippers after staging a dramatic comeback to win their sixth straight game, 113-106, on Monday night. The Bucks did that without the services of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton. Teams fighting for a top six in the Eastern Conference battle in the opener of ESPN’s twinbill when the New York Knicks host Philadelphia. With just six wins in 19 games following Tuesday’s loss to Brooklyn, the Sixers have been a disaster on the court and at the betting window going 4-10 ATS in their last 14 outings.

We won’t talk about last week’s parlay since it was a complete disaster starting with my pick of Golden State over Boston. And since the Warriors weren’t getting 53 points on the betting line I lost that one making the rest of the ticket useless. I have just one parlay win since January and with the season quickly coming to a close I’m running out of time to get that second winning ticket. It’s time to hunker down and come up with that winner this week.

Trends are always something to look at when betting sports and it’s hard to ignore what the Orlando Magic have done. They climbed into a tie for fourth in the East thanks to a four-game winning streak where they got the money each time. They are also 9-2 over their previous 11 games while going 8-3 ATS, solidifying their spot as top money-maker in the NBA with a cover rate of over 66 percent. They are also 2-0 SU and ATS against Indiana this season making the Magic a worthy pick on my NBA parlay.

With only nine wins through their first 61 games we can say the Washington Wizards are awful. When a team is so bad the spread will inflate and the Wiz have taken advantage of some lofty numbers on the road by covering in nearly 60 percent of their games putting them among the top five most profitable road clubs. They visit Miami on Sunday with the Heat playing their third game in four nights and where they are just 12-18 ATS. The analytics say back the visitors and that’s what I’m going to do.

My three-team parlay winner hits on Sunday night with the Timberwolves’ cover win over the Lakers. Minnesota boasts the best defense in the NBA holding teams to an average of 106.5 points and 44.5 percent shooting. That’s helped them become a top team in the West with two wins over the Lakers already this season. In fact, the Wolves are unbeaten in games played in California going 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS, and as long as Anthony Edwards doesn’t miss the team flight the Wolves should produce enough points for another W.
