MLB Parlay Picks for Friday, September 15, 2023

MLB Friday, September 15 Parlay Picks

Fridays are the day that Apple TV+ takes over the bulk of the national television coverage and this week they finally have a good matchup, as they will be showing the Tampa Bay Rays at the Baltimore Orioles. These two teams are battling for the lead in the American League East. The other game on Apple TV+ has the Philadelphia Phillies at the St. Louis Cardinals. MLB Network has the New York Yankees at the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Los Angeles Dodgers at the Seattle Mariners. ESPN+ has the Houston Astros at the Kansas City Royals. Let’s look at a couple of same-game parlays and a three-team parlay. Here are Friday, September 15 MLB same game parlay picks.

MLB Same Game Parlay #1

Texas Rangers -150

Rangers-Guardians Over 9 (-125)

$100 to win $200

The Texas Rangers are battling for a playoff spot and should have the edge against the Cleveland Guardians who are basically out of contention. The Rangers are expected to send Jon Gray to the mound, while the Guardians go with Lucas Giolito. What a bust Giolito has been with the Guardians. He has pitched 10 innings in his two starts with Cleveland and given up 13 runs. Gray is 8-7 with a 3.96 ERA. I’ll go with Texas and the game over the total.

MLB Same Game Parlay #2

Houston Astros -185

Astros-Royals Over 9.5 (-115)

$100 to win $188

The Astros are proving that no game is easy, as they just hosted the pathetic Oakland A’s and couldn’t even win the series. Now Houston goes into Kansas City to face a bad Royals team. The good news for Houston on Friday is that they get to face Zack Greinke who has once again quit on his team. The Royals brought Greinke back this season and he is 1-15 with an ERA of 5.47. The Royals and Greinke are getting what they deserve with him this season. The Astros should be going with Cristian Javier. He is 9-3 with a 4.78 ERA. It doesn’t matter to me who the Astros go with, as this is a play against the Royals and Greinke. I’ll take Houston and the game over the total.

MLB Three-Game Parlay

New York Yankees -148

Atlanta Braves -155

Milwaukee Brewers -200

$100 to win $314

I have been backing Gerrit Cole and the Yankees in all of his starts of late, as Cole is going for the AL Cy Young award. He is 13-4 with a 2.79 ERA and gets the benefit of facing the rotten Pirates on Friday. I’ll take the Yankees as the first team in the parlay. The Braves visit the Marlins on Friday and it should be Bryce Elder going for Atlanta while the Marlins send Johnny Cueto. Elder is having an excellent season, as he is 12-4 with a 3.38 ERA, while Cueto is 1-4 with an ERA over six. I’ll take the Braves as the second team in the three-team MLB parlay.

The last team in the parlay will be the Brewers with Wade Miley on the mound at home against Washington. Miley has been solid with a 7-4 record and a 3.30 ERA. It should be Jake Irvin for the Nationals, but I don’t care who the Nats throw. I’ll take the Brewers and Miley as the last team in the parlay.
