Pena won by rear-naked choke submission against Sara McMann in January of last year, won by unanimous decision against Nicco Montaño in July of 2019, lost by technical submission against Germaine de Randamie in October of 2020, and lost by armbar submission against Valentina Shevchenko in January of 2017.
Nunes is 21-5 in her career, including 4-1 in her last five fights. She is coming off a rear-naked choke submission loss against Julianna Pena in December of last year. Nunes won by reverse triangle armbar submission against Megan Anderson in March of last year, won by unanimous decision against Felicia Spencer in June of 2020, won by unanimous decision against Germaine de Randamie in December of 2019, and won by TKO against Holly Holm in July of 2019.
Pena and Nunes faced each other before in December of last year and that fight ended in a submission win for Pena. The two have a combined 16 knockout wins and nine submission wins.
Another big fight has Brandon Moreno taking on Kai Kara-France. Moreno is 19-6-2 in his career with three wins coming by TKO/KO and 11 by submission, while Kara-France is 24-9 in his career with 11 wins coming by TKO/KO and three by submission.
