Tyson Fury vs. Otto Wallin Betting Odds

Tyson Fury -3600

Otto Wallin +1300

Tyson Fury is a massive favorite per the boxing betting odds ahead of this fight. Fury opened as a -1800 favorite to beat the undefeated Wallin, but that line has doubled in the last few days.

To those unfamiliar with betting on boxing, the current odds of -3600 mean that you would have to wager $3600 on Fury to win $100. If you think that Wallin has a chance to pull off the upset as an underdog, the odds of +1300 mean that a $100 wager would return a $1300 profit if he does the improbable.

As the fight nears, there will be decision betting too. You will be able to bet on whether or not the fight is decided by KO, TKO, or decision, and you can bet on which boxer will win the fight in that fashion as well.

Tyson Fury vs. Otto Wallin Fight Preview

It’s no surprise that Tyson Fury is such a heavy favorite. He is a proven fighter that has yet to lose, and he appears to be back in form after a two-and-a-half-year absence from the ring stretching from November 2015 to June 2018. Fury went through a myriad of trials and tribulations during that time off, but he is back to doing what he does best.

Fury first gained international recognition by beating Wladimir Klitschko for all five heavyweight belts in Dusseldorf, Germany in 2015. It was a slugfest of a fight with both heavyweights unleashing some hard blows, but Fury won by unanimous decision.

After the long absence, he hammered Sefer Seferi in Manchester, beating him in four rounds. Two months later, he defeated Francesco Pianeta in 10 rounds, setting up a massive bout with Deontay Wilder. The two fought to a draw last December, and they have yet to agree to a rematch. Fury had no problem dismantling Tom Schwarz back in June, registering a 2nd round TKO.

Otto Wallin might be undefeated, but this is a significant step up in competition. This is only his second fight outside of Europe, and his first bout didn’t even last a full round. Wallin fought Nick Kisner in Atlantic City in April, and the fight was ruled a no contest after Wallin caught Kisner with an accidental headbutt, leading to a nasty gash.

The Swede was slated to fight BJ Flores in July, but that fight was called off after Flores failed repeated medical evaluations. He is still very unproven, so it’s hard to determine his talent as a boxer.

Total Rounds Betting

The fight is scheduled for 12 rounds. Total betting rounds odds will be available soon so be sure to check back. Total betting rounds odds is a wager on how long the fight will last. Let’s say if the total rounds betting line is Over 10.5 Rounds ( -200 ), that means that if you think the fight is going to go to at least 11 rounds for you to win your bet you would need to bet $200 to win $100. Conversely if you wager Under 10.5 Rounds ( +150 ), would mean you would need to risk $100 to win $150. As long as the fight did not go past 10 rounds. you would win the under.
