Nonito Donaire is 36 years old and ranked third in the world. Known as “The Filipino Flash” Donaire stands at five feet, seven and a half inches tall with a reach of 68 inches while fighting from an orthodox stance. Donaire is a native of Philippines that resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The last time Donaire fought was on April 27, 2019 when he faced Stephon Young for the World Boxing Association Super World Bantamweight title. Donaire scored a sixth-round knockout at the Cajun Dome in Lafayette. In addition, Donaire picked up the World Boxing Council Diamond Bantam title. Young went down once in the sixth round.

On November 3, 2018 Donaire faced Ryan Burnett for the World Boxing Association World Bantamweight title at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow. Also, at stake was the vacant World Boxing Council Diamond Bantamweight title. Donaire was the winner by RTD in the fourth round of a scheduled 12 round fight. Burnett suffered a back injury and had to leave the ring on a stretcher.

It was a nice recovery for Donaire as he suffered a 12 round unanimous decision loss to Carl Frampton on April 21, 2018 for the interim World Boxing Organization World Featherweight title. The fight took place at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Naoya Inoue is ranked first in the world and is 26 years old. Also, knowns as “Monster” Inoue has a height of five feet, five inches tall with a reach of 67.5 inches and fights from an orthodox stance. He is a native of Japan where he still resides in Yokohama.

Inoue last stepped into the ring on October 7, 2018 when he faced Juan Carlos Payano at the Arena in Yokohama. The World Boxing Association World Bantamweight title was at stake. It was an easy win for Inoue who posted a first-round knockout win.

On May 25, 2018 Inoue faced Jamie McDonnell at the Ota City General Gymnasium for the World Boxing Association World Bantamweight title. It was another dominant win by Inoue as he took a first-round knockout win for the title.
