As an amateur Garcia won the National Junior Golden Gloves Championships Gold Medal in 2004 and quickly turned professional after a highly successful amateur career.

Garcia is one of the most fundamentally sound boxers of any class with a classic style, strong punching power and will bring the ability to adapt and change tactics on the fly for this Showtime bout.

Robert Easter Jr is 27 years of age and is a native of Toledo, Ohio where he still resides. His career record is 21-0 with a total of 14 knockout wins. Easter Jr is currently ranked third in the world as a Lightweight. He stands at 5’11” tall with a reach of 76” and fights from an orthodox stance. Easter Jr was an alternate on the 2012 US Olympic team. He has been IBF lightweight champion since September 2016.
