Jeff Horn is 30 years old and a native of Brisbane that now resides is Acacia Ridge, Queensland, Australia. Horn stands at five feet nine inches tall with a reach of 68 inches and fights from an orthodox stance. Also known as “The Hornet” his career record is 18-1-1 with a total of 12 knockout wins for his career. His only defeat came by knockout and was in his last bout. Horn was the World Boxing Organization World Welterweight champion from 2017 to 2018. He is currently ranked fifth in the world. 

In his last bout on June 9, 2018 Horn suffered the only defeat of his career when he faced Terence Crawford for the World Boxing Organization World Welterweight title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Crawford scored a ninth-round technical knockout to win the title belt.

Prior to that, Horn defeated Gary Corcoran for the World Boxing Organization World Welterweight title on December 13, 2017 at the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Brisbane. Horn scored a technical knockout win in the 11th round of a scheduled 12 round bout.

The 43-year-old Anthony Mundine stands at five feet, 11 inches tall with a reach of 70 inches. Mundine has a career record of 48-8 with a total of 28 knockouts for his career. Mundine has suffered eight knockout losses. Mundine is a former rugby league player that has held the World Boxing Association Super Middleweight title twice between 2003 and 2008 as well as the International Boxing Organization Middleweight title from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, Mundine was World Boxing Association Interim Super Welterweight champion from 2011 to 2012. “The Man” may be the best athlete in the history of Australia.

Despite his past success Mundine has had a hard time of it in recent bouts. As a matter of fact, he has split his last eight bouts with two losses in his last three fights.

Mundine last stepped into the ring on January 17, 2018 and scored a second-round knockout win over Tommy Browne at The Star, Sydney, Pymont, Australia. The bout was for the World Boxing Organization Oriental Middleweight title.

On February 3, 2017 Mundine suffered a tenth-round majority decision loss against Danny Green for the Australian Cruiserweight title. The bout took place at the Adelaide Oval, North Adelaide, Australia.
