League of Legends 2020 LPL Spring Split Final Week

League of Legends 2020 LPL Spring Split Final Week

The regular season of the LPL Spring Split will come to a close this Monday. It has been the most surreal split in the history of the league, as the outbreak of the coronavirus led to the season being suspended for nearly two months after the first week. Like other leagues around the world, the LPL moved to an online-only format, but the best teams in China have overcome that to shine. The last two world champions (Invictus Gaming and FunPlus Phoenix) are set to finish as the top two teams in the regular season, and they will be the favorites per the Esports betting odds to win the split.

League of Legends 2020 LPL Spring Split Betting Odds

JD Gaming -526

LGD Gaming +333

Although LGD Gaming are 5-9, they have yet to be officially eliminated from the playoffs as of Thursday. There is a logjam of seven teams that could all claim the eighth and final spot in the postseason, giving us something wild to watch over the last four days of the regular season.

Unfortunately for their fans, they are highly unlikely to beat JD Gaming. JD Gaming have won five straight matches, and they are looking to ensure that they receive a top four seed in the postseason. Zoom and Yagao have been excellent for JD, and LokeN has made the most of his opportunity here.

Edward Gaming -357

Team World Elite +248

This should be the most exciting series of the three that will be played on Sunday. Edward Gaming has showed signs of life with their retooled roster. Jungler Jiejie has an 8.1 KDA and is consistently impacting early games on Lee Sin and Trundle, while Hope has been fantastic on Miss Fortune in the bottom lane with an 11.9 KDA on the champion. Team WE will play three series in the final four days and try to punch their ticket to the playoffs the hard way.

Invictus Gaming -1111

LNG Esports +547

The 2018 World Champions should have little trouble with lowly LNG Esports in this series. Invictus Gaming’s only losses this season have been against Estar and JDG Gaming, and the only way to see them losing this series is if they don’t take it seriously. If IG sweeps EDG 2-0 on Friday, they are guaranteed an automatic spot in the semifinals, so they could elect to have some fun here.

LGD Gaming -185

Rogue Warriors +138

Somehow the Rogue Warriors still have a chance to qualify for the postseason. It’s been a wild year for this team as they were fined a historic amount after jungler WeiYan was alleged to be throwing games, and they kept their hopes alive by upsetting Royal Never Give Up last week. However, a 2-0 loss to JD Gaming on Tuesday and a match with FPX on Saturday will probably be the undoing of this team.

Oh My God -135

Team World Elite +102

This series could determine the final playoff spot in the LPL Spring Split Playoffs. OMG and Team WE are the favorites to earn the slot since they are both just one game under .500, while the other five teams competing for the slot are at least two games below .500. OMG will have the advantage as they have four days to prepare specifically for this match, while Team WE have two games in that stretch.

FunPlus Phoenix -278

Top Esports +200

These two teams could very well end up meeting in the playoffs, so neither team might not want to show too much in this series. Since it is the last match of the regular season, both teams will know whether they have anything to play for, and that will determine the character of this match. Top Esports recently added JackeyLove to their squad, and the team hasn’t lost a match with him in the lineup in place of Photic.
