We are nearing the end of the LCK Summer Split, and there is a clear delineation between the top teams and everyone else in the region. DRX, DAMWON Gaming, Gen. G, and T1 are all at least 12-4, while the only other team above .500 is 8-7 Afreeca Freecs. The Freecs are duking it out with KT Rolster for the last spot in the playoffs, but there is plenty of intrigue the rest of the year given the gauntlet style playoff format you see in the LCK.

Although they are currently in second place in the standings, there is no doubt that DAMWON Gaming are the most talented team in Korea. ShowMaker has been exceptional throughout the Summer Split with a 16.2 KDA, and he has nearly double the KDA of the next closest player in the league. This team has only lost five games all season as the bottom lane is finally solid with Ghost taking over for Nuclear and BeryL free to roam in support, and Nuguri is the most intimidating top laner in the region by a wide margin.
DAMWON have made a habit of smashing lesser opponents throughout the season. They swept Dynamics 2-0 earlier in the split, and it’s hard to see this meeting going any differently. Dynamics have lost seven straight matches coming into this game, and Deokdam makes too many positioning mistakes to feel confident betting the underdog.

SANDBOX Gaming +235
This has the potential to be a competitive match if SANDBOX haven’t checked out. KT Rolster’s victory over SeolHaeOne Prince ensured that SANDBOX couldn’t qualify for the postseason, but they are still a solid team that has showed a lot of promise in the last few weeks. Although Summit has really struggled in the top lane, FATE has looked better every week in the mid lane, and OnFleek has rediscovered his Spring Split form.
The Freecs have been the gatekeeper team in the LCK throughout the Summer Split. They have lost to every team above them in the standings, and they have defeated every team below them. Kiin is still a playmaker in the top lane, but the team has increasingly turned to Mystic to lead the way. He has been responsible for 31.6 percent of his team’s damage this split per Games of Legends, but there are concerns about his champion pool given he has played one of four champions in nearly every game.

SeolHaeOne Prince +1150
It’s pretty discouraging to watch SeolHaeOne Prince at this point. They have lost 15 straight matches, and a different player seems to go on tilt every game. Keine will probably be in the mid lane given Mickey’s erratic play this season, but that still doesn’t fix the fact that there are multiple issues and no solid player across the roster.
Laying -5000 isn’t feasible, but DRX are -500 to pick up the 2-0 sweep. DRX are currently the best team in the league with a 14-2 record, while SeolHaeOne have been swept in all but four series. That makes the 2-0 sweep for the heavy favorite a great bet, even though DRX have some real issues that will probably keep them from winning the LCK title in the playoffs.

While Hanwha Life only have one win, they have been more competitive than SeolHaeOne. The formerly Griffin bottom lane duo of Viper and Lehends have played well and done their best to carry, but the rest of the team has struggled. There are no good options in the top lane, jungle, or mid lane, holding HLE back.
Gen. G might have the best bottom laner in the region in Ruler. He led this team to the World Championship in 2017, and he is still at the top of his game. Bdd has been very sharp in the mid lane too, so it’s tough to take the underdog.
