2021 LCS Spring Split Week 6 Preview

2021 LCS Spring Split Week 6 Preview

We essentially know which six teams will make it to the LCS 2021 Mid-Season Showdown next week. The playoff picture is pretty cut and dry entering the final week of the 2021 LCS Spring Split. FlyQuest, Counter Logic Gaming, and Golden Guardians have all been eliminated from postseason contention, and Cloud9 is top of the table at 11-4. Dignitas, Team SoloMid, 100 Thieves, and Team Liquid aren’t far behind C9 and are essentially playoff locks, but Evil Geniuses and Immortals are fighting for that final playoff spot. EG have a one-game edge on Immortals, but they lost both of their previous meetings with the team so they would lose the head-to-head tiebreaker if it came down to it.

2021 LCS Spring Split Week 6 Betting Odds

Cloud9 -622

Counter Logic Gaming +406

Expect a much more determined C9 in this game after the top team in the LCS lost two straight games last week to put their No. 1 overall seed in danger entering the playoffs. While CLG’s Broxah can potentially keep C9 playmaker Blaber in check, Perkz is playing at a high level and has a huge advantage over CLG’s Pobelter in the mid lane. Pobelter has a 2.0 KDA and a 61.7 kill percentage rate per Games of Legends, but he can’t take over in the early game like G2’s former standout player.

Team SoloMid -150

Evil Geniuses +118

This is the first extremely important game on Friday. Evil Geniuses want to put as much cushion between themselves and Immortals as possible, but they are underdogs to TSM.

TSM are starting to turn the corner. After some early hiccups, SwordArt is showing his playmaking potential at support, and PowerOfEvil has had some really nice performances in the mid lane. EG’s Jiizuke is one of the most tiltable players in the league, so a strong early game could do real wonders for TSM in this one.

100 Thieves -178

Immortals +138

It’s been a rough last couple weeks for 100 Thieves. This team got off to a 6-1 start, but the Thieves are 3-5 since that point. That led to 100T benching starting mid laner Damonte in favor of Ry0ma last week, but that didn’t change the mojo. Ssumday continues to have some real issues in the top lane, while Closer’s play hasn’t been as strong in the jungle.

Immortals have an intriguing team. Insanity is playing well in the mid lane, and Xerxe typically shines as a jungler earlier in the year. However, the Romanian import has played 13 of his 15 games on either Hecarim or Lillia, leading to questions about his champion pool. The bottom lane will be the issue for Immortals in this one as Raes and Destiny aren’t a great duo.

Team Liquid -319

Dignitas +235

Although Dignitas are one game ahead of Team Liquid in the standings, they are a substantial underdog. Dignitas continue to perplex the oddsmakers with their consistent play, proving they are a legitimate contender. They are playing very well around veterans Dardoch and Aphromoo, while FakeGod is smashing top lane pretty hard.

Liquid put together arguably the most talented team in the region, but they are just 9-6 at this point. They have had trouble gelling, yet the upside for Liquid is tremendous with Alphari and Santorin on the roster.

Golden Guardians +165

FlyQuest -213

Both teams are already eliminated from the postseason, but FlyQuest and Golden Guardians can use this match to build for the future. FlyQuest and Golden Guardians have a few talented young players and may switch things up by playing some reserves too in this match.
