2021 LCS Lock In Final Day Preview

The LCS Lock In Tournament has already provided fans with a lot of intrigue. Counter Logic Gaming’s continued struggles have left them on the outside looking in for the knockout rounds, and every team aside from Evil Geniuses has at least one loss. Group A looks to be the stronger group with 100 Thieves rising to match Team Liquid and Team SoloMid, but Cloud9 and Evil Geniuses are going to be solid opponents in the knockout rounds of this event.

2021 LCS Lock In Final Day Betting Odds

Golden Guardians +287

100 Thieves -403

PapaSmithy is grinning from ear to ear, as it’s looking like 100 Thieves is ready to challenge the top teams in the LCS. They knocked off TSM and Team Liquid pretty convincingly as FBI played very well in the bottom lane against the latter team. He was responsible for 32.1 percent of his team’s damage in that game. Closer looked sharp on Olaf too, continually making things happen with the jungler.

Four members of 100T used to be a part of Golden Guardians, so that will add a layer of intrigue onto this match. However, the Guardians are not as strong as they were last year due to those losses. They are playing a number of former academy players, and their only win came against a CLG team that will be among the worst in the LCS. Although 100T lost to CLG in a shocker last week, they will rebound this week in order to clinch the top spot in Group A.

Evil Geniuses -286

FlyQuest +214

The oddsmakers were out on FlyQuest from the very beginning. The loss of Santorin and PowerOfEvil was tough for last year’s Summer Split runner-up to overcome. Top laner Licorice was seen as the team’s best offseason acquisition, but he has yet to record a kill or an assist in FlyQuest’s two losses, and they were absolutely run over by Dignitas and C9. Jungler Josedeodo’s visa issues have been cleared up so this team should be more competitive, but that was a very unimpressive first week.

Evil Geniuses are looking sharp with a 3-0 start to the season including a win over C9. They are locked into first place in Group B, so we might see some experimentation in this game. That makes Fly a potentially nice pick as an underdog, and live betting is certainly a good option for this game.

Team Liquid -223

Team SoloMid +172

Jensen is out to prove that he is the best mid laner in the region with Bjergsen retired. He, PowerOfEvil, and Perkz are vying for that honor, and Jensen is off to a great start this season with dominant performances in Liquid’s two wins. His decision to take off-meta Cassiopeia against 100T backfired in a big way though.

The mid lane battle is fairly close, but Jensen has a much better supporting cast with Liquid than PowerOfEvil does with TSM. The one area where TSM might have an edge is in the jungle, but as long as Armao doesn’t get gapped by Spica, Liquid should get the win.

FlyQuest -138

Immortals +109

Immortals aren’t a top half team, but they have a very talented mid laner in Insanity and a better bottom lane than FlyQuest with Keith and Joey. We have seen Insanity show off some awesome skills over the last year, and he can bully Palafox in the laning phase. FlyQuest will likely have to show their hand somewhat since they play earlier in the day, giving Immortals an advantage.
