Andrew Moloney vs Joshua Franco Betting Odds

Andrew Moloney -1200

Joshua Franco +650

Andrew Moloney is a sizable favorite as an undefeated title holder. To those unfamiliar with betting on boxing, this line means you would need to bet $1200 on Moloney to make a $100 profit. If you think Franco has what it takes to pull off the upset, a $100 wager on the underdog would win you $650 plus your original stake.

As the fight nears, there will be decision betting too. You will be able to bet on whether the fight is decided by KO, TKO, or decision, and you can bet on which boxer will win the fight in that fashion as well.

Andrew Moloney vs. Joshua Franco

Moloney turned pro in October 2014, and he quickly established himself as the best in his weight class in Australia. He cruised to victories in his first four fights and knocked out Roberto Lerio in the fourth round to win the Australian bantamweight title in December 2015.

That victory led to Moloney earning a shot at and subsequently winning the Oceania bantamweight title, and he made quick work of most of his opponents. Moloney knocked out nine of his first 15 opponents within four rounds, showcasing stopping power you don’t see too often in lower weight classes. His fourth round TKO of Hashimu Zuberi for the Commonwealth super flyweight title in October 2017 put him on the fast track to challenging for bigger and better things.

His big breakthrough came in September 2018 when he beat former WBA title holder Luis Concepcion in a 10th round TKO. Moloney followed that up with two more TKO victories to earn a shot at the WBA super flyweight title against Elton Dharry and he claimed the strap by retiring Dharry in the eighth round.

Joshua Franco turned pro in August 2015. He ran into some trouble in his debut, but he had little trouble in his next 11 fights and took on 10-1 Carlos Maldonado in a bout between young contenders in December 2017. Franco won that fight by unanimous decision to move to 13-0, earning him a chance to take on Lucas Emanuel Fernandez.

Unfortunately for Franco, he was unable to get past Fernandez, losing by TKO in the ninth round when he was ahead on the cards of two judges. Since that point, he has been up and down with easy victories over two lesser opponents, but Oscar Negrete gave him three very difficult challenges in a trilogy. Two of those bouts ended in draws, and Franco won the other match in a split decision.

Total Rounds Betting

The fight is scheduled for 12 rounds. Total betting rounds odds will be available soon so be sure to check back. Total betting rounds odds is a wager on how long the fight will last. Let’s say if the total rounds betting line is Over 11.5 Rounds -200 , that means that if you think the fight is going to go all 12 rounds, for you to win your bet you would need to bet $200 to win $100. Conversely if you wager Under 11.5 Rounds +150 , you would need to risk $100 to win $150. As long as the fight did not go past the 11th round, you would win the under.
