Alex Saucedo vs. Sonny Fredrickson
Saucedo has not been afraid to get in the ring. He will turn 26 six days before this fight, but he has already fought 30 times as a professional. His career began when he was just 17, yet it took him some time to build up a reputation given his competition. In his first 17 bouts, his best opponent was 10-2-1 Boyd Henley, and his next best opponent was 7-4 prior to their fight.
A TKO victory over Jake Giuriceo in Hollywood put Saucedo on the path to greatness. He continued to run roughshod over his next seven opponents, and that earned Saucedo a chance to win his first title in November 2017. Saucedo took on 20-2-1 Gustavo David Vittori for the WBO NABO Super lightweight title, and he knocked out Vittori in the third round.
In his next two fights, Saucedo knocked out contenders Abner Lopez and Leonardo Zappavigna. That led to a title shot against undefeated Maurice Hooker in November 2018, but he was no match for the WBO champion. Saucedo did bounce back with a first-round knockout of Rod Salka last November though.
It took some time for Fredrickson to take on a real opponent. He fought tomato cans for his first three years as a pro, but he took care of business and ran his record to 14-0. In his first real fight, he won a unanimous decision over Gabriel Duluc, and that eventually led to a WBA Fedebol Super lightweight fight against Placido Ramirez.
Fredrickson scored a knockout in that bout to claim his first belt, but he was knocked out by Shohjahon Ergashev two months later. He followed that up with a unanimous decision win over Manuel Mendez, yet he lost a majority decision to Samuel Teah back in November.
Total Rounds Betting
The fight is scheduled for 12 rounds. Total betting rounds odds will be available soon so be sure to check back. Total betting rounds odds is a wager on how long the fight will last. Let’s say if the total rounds betting line is Over 11.5 Rounds -200 , that means that if you think the fight is going to go all 12 rounds, for you to win your bet you would need to bet $200 to win $100. Conversely if you wager Under 11.5 Rounds +150 , you would need to risk $100 to win $150. As long as the fight did not go past the 11th round, you would win the under.
