2015 Drive4Clots.com 300 Winner - Kevin Harvick Wins

Driving for JR Motorsports, Harvick won his second XFINITY race of the season in just three starts. Harvick, age 39, led for 100 of 150 laps at the 2-mile Southern California oval. Finishing second was Brendan Gaughan in a Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet, followed by Erik Jones in a Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, and Harvick's teammate, 2014 series champion Chase Elliott.

Harvick had widened his lead to six seconds Saturday when a caution period bunched the field with 29 laps left. But Harvick again quickly pulled ahead on the restart and was not challenged again.

Harvick was the lone Cup regular in the race to finish in the Top 6. He was the 20th consecutive Cup driver to win an Xfinity race at Auto Club and will try to become the fourth driver to score a Xfinity-Cup weekend sweep. Kyle Busch last did it, two years ago.

2014 TreatMyClot.com 300 Winner - Kyle Larson Wins

It's been a good few races for Kyle Larson. Larson ran well in both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup races last weekend in Bristol. This weekend in Fontana, Larson went to Victory Lane for the first time ever in his Nationwide career after winning the Treatmyclot.com 300. Larson was able to edge out Kevin Harvick in what ended up being a very good race.

Larson will look to keep his winning ways going on Sunday in the Auto Club 400. If Larson were to sweep the weekend it would not only put him into the chase as a rookie, but it would also go a long way in helping him win Rookie of the Year.

2013 Royal Purple 300 - JGR domination continues with Busch win

Joe Gibbs Racing had won the past eight Nationwide Series races at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. With his win on Saturday in the Royal Purple 300, Kyle Busch extended that streak to nine wins as he grabbed the checkered flag after starting on the pole in the No. 54 Monster Energy Toyota Camry. It was Busch's sixth Nationwide Series win at Auto Club Speedway.

Busch, who went winless in the Nationwide Series last season, won for the third time this season, with previous wins coming at Phoenix and last weekend at Bristol. He led 93 of the race's 150 laps on his way to the win over Nationwide Series points leader Sam Hornish Jr. Regan Smith, Parker Kligerman and Austin Dillon rounded out the top five.

2012 Royal Purple 300 Winner - Joey Logano wins Royal Purple 300 from the pole

The Middletown, Conn. native returned to victory lane after leading 92 laps in the Royal Purple 300 at Auto Club Speedway (ACS). Joey Logano, 21, brought his No. 18 Translux Toyota into the winner's circle on Saturday afternoon. Logano started the race and won it from the pole in front of an estimated crowd of 40,000. This was Joe Gibbs Racing's eighth consecutive victory in the NASCAR Nationwide series at ACS.

"It's important to keep the streak going," Logano told the press after winning the race. "We try to win every one. All of the guys at the shop have done a great job."

Logano's margin of victory over Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was 1.066 seconds. This was his 10th victory in 92 NASCAR Nationwide Series races and his first this year. The Royal Purple 300 win was Logano's second victory and seventh top-10 finish in seven races at ACS.

Stenhouse started the race in the 10th position and made it all the way up to second. His time during qualifying was 41.032 seconds at a speed of 175.473 mph. The race between Stenhouse and Logano was a very close one. Their cars were neck and neck over the last 10 laps. The Roush Fenway Racing driver was hoping to end up with another win, his last was in the 2012 Sam's Town 300 in Las Vegas.

2011 Royal Purple 300 Winner

Kyle Busch drove it like he stole it over the final 13 laps at Auto Club Speedway, because that's exactly what happened in Saturday's Royal Purple 300 Nationwide Series race. About the only thing he didn't get was a grand larceny charge.

Thanks to a two-tire call with 13 laps left, Busch exited the pits with a five-second lead over runner-up Carl Edwards and won a race in a No. 18 Toyota that was, at best, a third-place car.

Edwards, the pole sitter, attempted to catch Busch during the final mile, but came up 0.7 seconds short. Busch claimed his third Nationwide win of the season and the 46th of his career, which puts him three victories away from tying record-holder Mark Martin, who finished eighth in this race.
