2014 Indy 250 Winner - Lilly Diabetes 250 Results

Ty Dillon, wins his first career NNS race and does it at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday in the Lilly Diabetes 250.

Dillon grabbed the lead from Busch, the pole winner, moments after a restart on Lap 77 of 100. He soon opened a lead of one second over the most prolific winner in series history, but it wasn’t without some pinpoint calculations on the part of crew chief Danny Stockman.

From that point on, Mike Dillon and Stockman kept repeating the same mantra, "Hammer down!" and Dillon obliged, getting to the finish line .833 seconds ahead of Busch. Matt Kenseth ran third, and Kevin Harvick fourth.

2013 Indy 250 Winner - Kyle Busch survives late restart for Indy 250 win

Even with a car that was clearly the class of the field, Kyle Busch had some anxious moments in the closing laps of Saturday's Indiana 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

That Busch beat runner-up Brian Scott to the finish line by 2.141 seconds belies the difficulty Busch experienced on the final restart on Lap 95 of 100, when Joey Logano squeezed Busch into Turn 1 and allowed Scott to take the lead.

After harrying Scott for nearly three laps, Busch finally made the winning pass, putting an exclamation point on a dominant performance that saw him lead 92 laps.

The victory was Busch's eighth of the Nationwide season in 15 starts and the 59th of his career, extending his own series record. Earlier in the day, Busch had won his 31st Nationwide pole, breaking a tie with Mark Martin for the all-time lead in that category.

2012 Indy 250 Winner - Keselowski wins Indy 250

Brad Keselowski won the first Nationwide Series race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday, but there were questions surrounding the victory in the Indy 250.

Keselowski gave team owner Roger Penske his first stock car victory at IMS, a place where Penske drivers have won the Indianapolis 500 a record 15 times.

Sam Hornish Jr., another Penske driver and a former winner of the Indy 500, finished second followed by Ty Dillon, Austin Dillon and Denny Hamlin.

The finish turned controversial when Elliott Sadler took the lead on a restart on Lap 82 by passing Keselowski before the two cars reached the start/finish line.

NASCAR black-flagged Sadler for jumping the start, and for the next six laps the team argued that Keselowski spun his tires. Sadler was forced to pit on Lap 89.
