2015 Hisense 250 - Kevin Harvick Wins Hisense 250

Kevin Harvick regained the lead with 26 laps to go and held off red-hot Joey Logano to win the Hisense 250 XFINITY Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway for a third straight time.

Harvick led 101 of 163 laps en route to the victory

Logano, who claimed poles for both the XFINITY Series and Sprint Cup Series races this weekend, wrestled the lead from Harvick with 37 laps to go, but couldn’t hold off the No. 88 Chevrolet.

Only Harvick, Logano and Matt Kenseth led laps during the race. Logano was out front for the first 49 laps, but lost the lead to Harvick when he pitted. He didn’t get it back until lap 127 and Harvick jumped right back ahead on lap 136.

The race which consisted of 195 laps at the 1.54 mile oval in Hampton, GA began with Kyle Busch on the pole.

A late race crash involving Jeff Green brought everyone down pit road. Harvick would beat Joey Logano and Kyle Busch off pit road and then hold off Busch tot he finish line.

Harvick led the most laps of the race and in the process scores his first win since Texas 2012. It is his 40th career win in the Nationwide Series. Sam Hornish who entered with a six point lead in the standings finished the race third.

2013 Great Clips - Grit Chips 300 - Kevin Harvick Holds On To Win Nationwide Series Race In Atlanta

Kyle Busch may have been the most dominant driver in the NASCAR Nationwide Series as of late, but it was Kevin Harvick who got ahead of him at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Harvick picked up the win in the Great Clips-Grit Chips 300 after holding off the competition in the final restart of the night. Within the final laps, Harvick managed to keep the lead despite a late race charge from Busch. Heading into the final lap, both drivers were racing for the win.

Busch would end up finishing in second, followed by Sam Hornish Jr., Kasey Kahne and Kyle Larson.

The race at Atlanta gave Harvick his 40th NASCAR Nationwide Series win of his career. It was also a redemption of sorts considering he led the race last year and ended up finishing in third. Harvick also lead the most laps on Saturday night.

2012 NRA American Warrior 300 Winner - Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Wins NRA American Warrior 300

Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. passed Kevin Harvick on the last lap to claim his sixth career Nationwide Series win in the NRA American Warrior 300 at Atlanta Motor Speedway Saturday night.

Harvick led 157 laps before Stenhouse executed the race winning pass on lap 194 of the 195-lap race. Brad Keselowski followed Stenhouse to take second with Harvick third at the finish.

Elliott Sadler and Justin Allgaier rounded out the top five.

Completing the top 10 were Austin Dillon, Kyle Busch, Cole Whitt, Sam Hornish, Jr. and Michael Annett.

Danica Patrick finished 13th, two laps off the pace.

Stenhouse gained on Sadler in the 2012 Nationwide title fight with 12 points seperating the two leaders heading to Richmond.

2011 Great Clips 300 Winner

In front of 62,900, Carl Edwards and his No. 60 Fastenal Ford won the 20th Annual Great Clips 300, his 35th victory in 236 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. This is his sixth victory and 19th top-10 finish in 2011. This is also his second victory and sixth top-10 finish in seven races at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

In second, Kyle Busch and his No. 18 -Line Designs Toyota posted his fifth top-10 finish in eight races at Atlanta Motor Speedway. It is his 16th top-10 finish in 2011.

Grabbing third, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and his No. 6 Blackwell Angus Ford posted his second top-10 finish in two races at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Kevin Harvick and his No. 33 Rheem.com Chevrolet finished fourth with Kasey Kahne and his No. 38 Great Clips Chevrolet rounded out the top-five.

Ryan Truex was the highest finishing rookie, he finished 11th.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. leads the NASCAR Nationwide point standings by 13 points over Elliott Sadler.
