2014 Drive to Stop Diabetes 300 Winner - Kyle Busch dominant in Drive to Stop Diabetes 300 win

It was a day for the favorites Saturday at Bristol Motor Speedway -- and there's no driver more dominant at BMS than Kyle Busch.

Leading a crew of Sprint Cup regulars at the front of the field for most of the day, Busch won his third straight Nationwide Series race at BMS as he prevailed Saturday afternoon in the Drive to Stop Diabetes 300.

Busch held off Kyle Larson, Kevin Harvick, Ryan Blaney and Matt Kenseth for the win.

2013 Jeff Foxworthy's Grit Chips 300 Winner - Kyle Busch wins Jeff Foxworthy's Grit Chips 300

On Saturday afternoon, the Nascar Nationwide Series took to the Bristol Motor Speedway for race #4 of the 2013 season schedule. The first three races saw exciting, hard-fought racing that put the fans on the edge of their seats. Moving into “Thunder Valley,” the series was sure to put on a race that had a lot of beating and banging, and it lived up to that.

The green flag flew just after 2 P.M. on the East Coast. Nascar moved up the start of the race just a few minutes, as the weather forecast for the late afternoon called for some showers. Justin Allgaier who took the pole earlier Saturday morning, led the field to green with Austin Dillon to his outside. Justin elected the outside lane for the start, and used it to his advantage to pull away early on. Austin Dillon however, tried to find a spot up on the top side, and made some contact with Sam Hornish Jr. They were both able to continue with no damage, but it was a close call for so early into the event.

2012 St. Patrick's Day 300 - Strategy Call Results in Ford EcoBoost 300 Win for Elliot Sadler

It wasn't quite luck and Elliott Sadler certainly isn't Irish, but the veteran driver was able to take advantage of a late race caution and strategic call from crew chief Lucas Lambert to earn a St. Patrick's Day win in the Ford EcoBoost 300 Saturday afternoon at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Track position has been critical throughout the event - so much so that only two on-track lead changes were made during the entire race. So when Kyle Busch brushed the turn four wall to bring out a late caution, there was but one call to make for Lambert.

Lambert ordered driver Sadler to keep the No. 2 OneMain Financial Chevrolet on the track instead of pitting, a move that Sadler initially chagrined as one-by-one he watched virtually all the other contenders pit for new tires.

2011 Scott's EZ Seed 300 race Results

Kyle Busch hit another milestone in Saturday's Scotts EZ Seed 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway. Yes, he won the race. That's almost a given in the NASCAR Nationwide Series these days. The victory was Busch's second of the year and the 45th of his career, leaving him four behind Mark Martin (idle Saturday) for the career lead.

Perhaps even more impressive was what Busch accomplished on Lap 265 of 300. In his 206th start, Busch, the 2009 series champion, led his 10,000th lap in the series. No one else is close. Busch, who swept the Bristol weekend in August, is the first back-to-back winner at the track since 1993 series champ Steve Grissom in 1995.
