2013 Dollar General 300 Winner - Kyle Busch wins Dollar General 300

Kyle Busch won the NASCAR Nationwide Series' Dollar General 300 from Charlotte Motor Speedway on Friday night.

The race began with Busch on the pole for a 200 lap race at the 1.5-mile Charlotte Motor Speedway located in Concord, NC. Sam Hornish Jr. led the most laps but got passed late by Busch and later lost second to Austin Dillon.

Busch's win was his 11th of the season in the Nationwide Series and his 62nd of his career.

2012 Dollar General 300 Winner - Logano earns eighth win of 2012

All three Joe Gibbs Racing Nationwide Series teams qualified in the top eight for Friday night's Dollar General 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, led by Joey Logano in third in the #20 GameStop Toyota Camry; his lap of 183.811 mph (29.378 seconds) was behind only Elliott Sadler (184.238 mph/29.310 seconds) and Austin Dillon (184.005 mph/29.347 seconds).

Brian Scott started seventh in the #11 Dollar General Toyota following his qualifying lap of 182.642 mph (29.566 seconds), while Denny Hamlin started eighth in the #18 Dollar General Toyota after a lap of 181.653 mph (29.727 seconds).

Logano led six times for 62 laps as he came home victorious, getting his first win at Charlotte in his ninth Nationwide Series start. It was his eighth win in 18 starts this season, and JGR's 76th Nationwide Series win. Logano was forced to change his line on the track after Kevin Harvick passed him for the lead on Lap 155, then walked away from the field, beating Harvick by 2.760 seconds.

2011 Dollar General 300 Miles of Courage Winner - Edwards rebounds for NNS win at Charlotte

Another NASCAR Nationwide Series race, another dominating performance by Brad Keselowski. For the second week in a row, Keselowski dominated a series event, but this time around the final destination wasn't victory lane. Instead, Carl Edwards took the win after battling Kyle Busch in the closing laps of Friday night's Dollar General 300 Miles of Courage at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Keselowski finished just outside the top-10 in sixth.

Paul Menard started on the pole but lost the lead to Ricky Stenhouse Jr. when Stenhouse beat him off pit road by taking only two tires during the first caution of the race that came out on lap 25. Elliott Sadler also took two on his stop to restart in the second position.

The two drivers battling for the Nationwide Series championship and a $100,000 Nationwide Insurance Dash 4 Cash bonus -- Stenhouse and Sadler -- maintained their first and second positions until the second caution of the race came out on lap 40. Keselowski then assumed the lead on the following restart and led much of the remainder of the race until a punctured tire caused him to spin and bring out a caution with 28 laps to go.
