NASCAR continues to try to explore new tracks to race at over the course of its season, and one of the places that it recently expanded to was in Kansas. The drivers have had some issues with Kansas Speedway in the past, but it's still a young track that has really thrived in terms of fan support. The first annual event at this track, then known as the STP 400, was considered a huge success for a race held right in the middle of the season in June. It was since moved to a race held in the first part of the regular season and has been a mainstay just before the "All-Star Break" at Charlotte for the past few years.

The one thing we haven't had at Kansas Speedway is any sort of consistency. We've yet to have a two-time winner of the Go Bowling 400, as there have been six different winners in the first six years of the race's existence. The one thing that you'll notice though, is that there haven't been a heck of a lot of upsets. For the most part, the drivers who have won the Go Bowling 400 have gone on to run in the Chase for the Championship, and rare is the driver who finished in the Top 5 in this race who couldn't ultimately say the same thing.

We might not have had any drivers win the Go Bowling 400 more than once, but we have had the same team head to Victory Lane multiple times. Joe Gibbs Racing is leading the way with three triumphs, including going back-to-back in 2012 and 2013 with Denny Hamlin and Matt Kenseth. Hendrick Motorsports pulled off its double right after that in 2014 and 2015 with Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson, but JGR was the first to get to three wins all-time in this race with Kyle Busch reaching the winner's circle in 2016.

Ford will get its first win in the Go Bowling 400 soon enough, but that time hasn't come yet in the first six editions of this race. Dodge was ironically the first winner of the Go Bowling 400 thanks to Brad Keselowski, but since then, we've seen teams with different manufacturers take the gold. JGR's Toyota machines have the all-time lead with three wins at the Go Bowling 400, but Chevrolets can knot that up at three wins apiece this year.
How to bet on Nascar Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Race at Kansas
The odds of a driver to win the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Race at Kansas will generally look something like:
- Jeff Gordon + 200
- Mark Martin + 250
- Jeff Burton + 300
- Bill Elliott + 700
- Robby Gordon + 700
- Field + 500
These betting odds will be lower when betting on a driver to finish in the top three, as the sportsbook must pay off three different winning bets.
A player would have to bet $10 to win $20 that Jeff Gordon will win the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Race at Kansas, while the bettor wagering on Bill Elliott stands to win $70 on their $10 wager.
Another commonly placed bet in NASCAR is head-to-head finish between two drivers. With this bet, a player doesn't really care what place the driver finishes in, as long as the driver finishes higher than the other driver.
A head-to-head betting line for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Race at Kansas will look something like:
- Mark Martin - 130 Jeff Burton + 110
In this bet, players wagering on Martin to finish higher than Burton will be asked to risk $13 to win $10, while bettors believing that Burton will finish higher than Martin will bet $10 to win $11.
Those familiar with sports betting will have no trouble making the transition to NASCAR wagering, while those new to the world of sports betting should be able to pick up the concepts of NASCAR betting without too much hassle.
