bellator 158 Wagering OddsBellator Betting Online: If you’re looking for the best advice for MMA wagering, you’ve certainly come to the right place. Here at Bookmaker sportsbook we’re previewing Bellator 158- Kimbo vs Thompson 2 on July 16th, 2016 at the O2 Arena in London, England, featuring Kevin Ferguson, James Thompson, Josh Koscheck and Paul Daley.

The first time Kevin Ferguson and James Thompson squared off back in May 2008, things went Ferguson’s way with the Florida native winning by technical knockout in the third round. But a lot can change in eight years so this could be a totally different matchup as the two face off in a rematch at Bellator 158- Kimbo vs Thompson 2 on July 16th, 2016 at the O2 Arena in London, England. Both fighters seem to be struggling lately and this one could be a toss-up in MMA wagering.

Kevin Ferguson comes into this rematch with a record of 5-2 with one no contest. With just eight bouts under his belt, the 42-year-old is far less seasoned than Thompson who has appeared in more than four times as many professional fights. Ferguson fought rival Dhafir Harris on February 19th and was originally awarded a third-round knockout, but that ruling was later changed to a no contest after Ferguson tested positive for steroids. The bout between Ferguson and Harris received a lot of negative attention from MMA fans who felt both fighters were out of shape. It remains to be seen what kind of condition Ferguson will be in against Thompson in London. His most recent win was in June 2015 when he defeated Ken Shamrock by technical knockout. Both Ferguson and Shamrock tested positive for the same steroid following this matchup and the ruling was not overturned.

James Thompson has a record of 20-16 with one no contest so far in his career. Including his 20 victories are 11 knockouts. Thompson will be eager to get back in the winning column against Ferguson after going 0-2 in his last couple of bouts. The 37-year-old fell to Tsuyoshi Kosaka last December and also lost in a rematch to Bobby Lashley in November of last year, accounting for his only two bouts of 2015. His most recent victory was against Eric Prindle in June 2014. He also has victories over Colin Robinson and Bob Sapp in recent years. He has gone 5-4 with one no contest in his last ten bouts.

Welterweights Josh Koscheck and Paul Daley will also be facing off at Bellator 158. Koscheck will be trying to end his recent losing streak in London which dates back to 2012. The 38-year-old has gone 0-5 in the last few years with his most recent loss coming to Erick Silva in March 2015. He also fell to Jake Ellenberger in February of last year. Koscheck’s last win was in February 2012 against Mike Pierce. Daley has a record of 38-13-2 coming into this event. In contrast, he is riding a five-fight winning streak. His most recent win was on January 29th when he defeated Andy Uhrichin a first-round knockout. He also has recent wins over Dennis Olson and Andre Santos in MMA wagering.

Quick Pick MMA Odds: James Thompson is the choice to win this rematch against Ferguson.
