Scott Quigg vs Carl Frampton Boxing OddsBoxing Betting Lines: If you’re looking for the best advice for boxing betting, you’ve certainly come to the right place. Here at Bookmaker sportsbook we’re previewing the super bantamweight title fight between Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg on February 27th, 2016, at Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.

Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg will put their respective super bantamweight titles on the line when they face off on February 27th, 2016, at Manchester Arena in Manchester, New England. Frampton is the current title-holder of the IBF super bantamweight belt, while Quigg has the WBA super bantamweight title. Both are undefeated in their careers so this could be an intriguing fight with close odds in boxing betting.

Carl Frampton has a career record of 21-0 in his career with 14 knockouts. Frampton won various lower-level championship belts early in his career, and then was set up for the IBF title shot when he defeated Hugo Cazares by second-round knockout in a title eliminator fight on April 4th, 2014. Frampton won his first major title when he claimed the IBF super bantamweight belt with a unanimous decision over Kiko Martinez on September 6th, 2014. Frampton has retained his title in two subsequent bouts. He defeated Chris Avalos by fifth-round technical knockout on February 28th, 2015 and beat Alejandro Gonzalez, Jr. via unanimous decision last time out on July 18th, 2015.

Scott Quigg is 31-0-2 as a professional with 23 wins by knockout. He had his first shot at the WBA super bantamweight title in a matchup against Rendall Munroe on June 16th, 2012, but since they fought to a draw he did not pick up the title. The duo faced off in a rematch on November 24th, 2012, and Quigg captured a sixth-round technical knockout victory to claim the interim belt. Quigg then fought to a draw again in his first title defense against Yoandras Salinas, but since he was the title-holder at that time, Quigg retained his belt. Quigg has been flawless since that point. He has knocked out four of the five opponents in that time, first with Diego Oscar Silva, followed by Tshifhiwa Munyai and Stephane Jamoye. Quigg’s lone decision win in that span came over Hidenori Otake with a unanimous victory on November 22nd, 2014. In his most recent fight, Quigg defeated Kiko Martinez by second-round TKO for his sixth successful title defense.

Now both fighters will try to retain their own belt and add another to their collection. Frampton has never fought to a draw while Quigg has a bigger body of work, so the way this one transpires will be very interesting to watch. Both sides have to be feeling comfortable but Quigg may be able to come in as a bit of a favorite based on his stronger title in boxing betting.
