Lucas Browne vs Ruslan Chagaev Boxing PicksBoxing Betting Lines: If you’re looking for the best advice for boxing gambling, you’ve certainly come to the right place. Here at Bookmaker sportsbook we’re previewing the WBA heavyweight title fight between Lucas Browne and Ruslan Chagaev on March 5th, 2016, at Ahmat-Arena in Grozny, Russia.

Lucas Browne has shot up the heavyweight ladder without a loss and will now get a shot at the WBA championship belt. It won’t be an easy victory as he faces off with reigning champion Ruslan Chagaev on March 5th, 2016, at Ahmat-Arena in Grozny, Russia. Since one is the current title-holder and the other has never lost, it will be interesting to see the odds placed on both fighters in boxing gambling.

Lucas Browne has a career record of 23-0 with 20 knockouts. His first lower-level heavyweight title came in his seventh fight when Browne defeated Clarence Tillman III by unanimous decision for the vacant UBC Inter-Continental heavyweight belt. Browne then added the vacant WBF Asia-Pacific heavyweight and Australian heavyweight titles in his ensuing bouts. Five of Brown’s past six wins have ended up getting stopped, as he registered knockouts against Richard Towers, Tillman II again, Eric Martel and Julius Long while he beat Chauncy Welliver when Welliver was forced to retire on November 12th, 2014. The victory over Long was the most recent, which set him up for the WBA heavyweight title shot.

Ruslan Chagaev is 34-2-1 with 21 knockouts in his career. Chagaev started 25-0-1 in his career and won the WBA heavyweight title with a majority decision over Nikolai Valuev on April 14th, 2017. Chagaev defended it against Matt Skelton and Carl Davis Drumond to set up a shot against Wladimir Klitschko to add four other heavyweight belts to his collection, but it didn’t turn out well. Klitschko emerged with a ninth-round victory for Chagaev’s first loss. He lost three fights later to Alexander Povetkin, but has gotten back on track since then. Chagaev enters on a seven-fight winning streak. He won the vacant WBA heavyweight title on September 6th, 2014 with a majority decision over Fres Oquendo, and then retained it by defeating Francesco Planeta with a first-round technical knockout in his most recent bout on July 11th, 2015.

This is a very intriguing fight since Chagaev is a proven champion while Browne has been quite impressive early in his career. Chagaev’s body of work could make him the favorite but Brown hopes to stay unblemished in this title clash in boxing gambling.
