Kiko Martinez vs Leo Santa Cruz Boxing OddsBoxing Betting Lines: If you’re looking for the best advice for boxing gambling, you’ve certainly come to the right place. Here at Bookmaker sportsbook we’re previewing the WBA super featherweight fight between Leo Santa Cruz and Kiko Martinez on February 27th, 2016, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Leo Santa Cruz will look to remain undefeated and defend his championship belt in a fight against Kiko Martinez on February 27th, 2016 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Santa Cruz is the current WBA super featherweight title-holder and is-1800 favorite to keep it. Martinez is a heavy +1000 underdog in boxing gambling.

Leo Santa Cruz has a career record of 31-0-1 with 17 knockouts as a professional. He won some lower-level titles early in his career and then captured the IBF bantamweight belt with a unanimous decision over Vusi Malinga on June 2nd, 2012. Santa Cruz successfully defended it three times, and then won the WBC super bantamweight title with a third-round technical knockout of Victor Terrazas on August 24th, 2013. Santa Cruz retained that title four times and then moved on to another weight class. He won the vacant WBA super featherweight championship belt with a majority decision over Abner Mares in his most recent bout on August 29th, 2015.

Kiko Martinez is 34-6 in his career with 25 knockouts. He is a former IBF super bantamweight champion but doesn’t have the same sterling resume as Santa Cruz. Martinez picked up the title with a sixth-round technical knockout of Jonatan Romero on August 17th, 2013. He successfully defended it twice before falling to Carl Frampton by unanimous decision on September 6th, 2014. Martinez won his next bout over George Gachechiladze which set him up for an attempt at the WBA super bantamweight title, but he fell to Scott Quigg by second-round TKO. Martinez has bounced back recently. He defeated Herald Molina by first-round knockout in October of 2015, and less than a month later he won an eight-round unanimous decision over Everth Briceno. Those victories have set Martinez up for another shot at a championship belt.

While Martinez has found some success in his career, Santa Cruz is the clear favorite based on his track record. He has never lost a bout and has claimed some high-level titles thus far. It would be a monumental upset if Martinez is able to come from big-time underdog status to beat Santa Cruz. The past history says that’s an extreme longshot as Santa Cruz will most likely emerge victorious in boxing gambling.
