Boxing Betting Lines: If you're looking for the best advice for boxing gambling, you've certainly come to the right place. Here at Bookmaker sportsbook, we’re previewing the WBA super middleweight title fight between Felix Sturm and Fedor Chudinov on February 20th, 2016, at Koenig Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.
Fedor Chudinov has an undefeated record and the WBA super middleweight title to his name, but there is one fighter who gave him a very tough battle. That pair will face off again when Chudinov goes against Felix Sturm in a title defense on February 20th, 2016, at Koenig Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. Chudinov will be favored based on his body of work but it won’t be an easy bout if it’s similar to the first one in boxing gambling.
Fedor Chudinov has a career record of 14-0 with 10 knockouts. He won the interim WBA super middleweight crown in his 12th career fight by defeating Ben McCulloch with a second-round TKO on December 11th, 2014. His first title defense came against Sturm on May 9th, 2015, and Chudinov came away with a split decision victory. The two went toe-to-toe for the entire fight and Chudinov was judged victorious by two of the three judges. Chudinov then defeated Frank Buglioni by unanimous decision in his most recent fight on September 26th, 2015, to once again retain the super middleweight championship belt for the second time.
Felix Sturm is 39-5-3 with 19 career knockouts. He began his career with 20 straight wins and captured the WBO middleweight title over Hector Javier Velazco on September 13th, 2003. Sturm retained it once successfully before suffering his first career loss to Oscar De La Hoya in 2004. Sturm won and lost the WBA middleweight title once more before claiming it for nearly five years from 2007 through 2012. Sturm lost his title the third time to Daniel Geale and hasn’t lived up to the level of his prime of late. He has two losses and a draw in his past three bouts, including the loss to Chudinov. That came in Sturm’s most recent bout, and now he will look to rediscover the level of boxing which made him the titlist for several years.
It seems like it has been a passing of the torch with Chudinov the new top dog in the super middleweight class. However, Sturm gave him a tough match last time out and it could very well go the other way this time around if Chudinov isn’t up to the task in boxing gambling.
