2016-French-Open-Online-Betting-Props

A week of play is in the books at the French Open, and we've already seen a number of the top players in the world on both sides of the draw challenged, many of which have bowed out of the tournament before the end of the first weekend of play.

Andy Murray +325
Stan Wawrinka +900
Kei Nishikori +1600
Dominic Thiem +1800
Milos Raonic +4000
Tomas Berdych +6600
Richard Gasquet +8000
David Ferrer +8000
David Goffin +8000
Ernests Gulbis +12500
John Isner +15000
Viktor Troicki +15000
Roberto Bautista-Agut +15000
Albert Ramos Vinolas +25000
Marcel Granollers +30000

The men's side of the French Open took a real hit when both Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal bowed out just before the start of the tournament. Though it presented better draws for sure for some, the man it really helped the most is Novak Djokovic. Now, instead of facing the possibility of having to go through both men just to reach the final, Djokovic has a wide open path. He'll have to face Roberto Bautista-Agut in the fourth round over the weekend, a match he should win comfortably before taking on either David Ferrer or Tomas Berdych in the quarters.

Where this really opened up was in Section 3 and 4, though. Dominic Thiem, the No. 13 seed in the tournament, gets to play unseeded Marcel Granollers in the Round of 16, then he'll likely face No. 12 David Goffin in the quarterfinals.

At the bottom of the bracket, it's business as usual for Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka, men who seem on a crash course for each other in the semifinals. Of course, neither got off to a good start. Wawrinka was down two sets to one against Lukas Rosol before he rallied to win in five sets in the opening round. Murray lost the first two sets against Radek Stepanek in the first round before winning the last three, and he found himself in a five-setter again versus qualifier Mathias Bourgue in the second round.

Both men have survived to get to the fourth round though, and there should be relatively clear paths for both to the semis.

It would be downright shocking if Murray or Wawrinka didn't play against Djokovic in the French Open Final.

Not surprisingly, there's been plenty of carnage on the women's side of this draw. Three of the top seven players in the draw were first round knockouts, and four more of the Top 16 were done by the end of the third round.

The end result is a clear path once again for Serena Williams to the final. She hasn't dropped a set yet in this tournament, and really only one of the six was all that close. She's got Elina Svitolina in the fourth round followed by a likely date with Carla Suarez Navarro in the quarterfinals, and neither match should be a challenge. If she does get that far, Williams could be facing sister, Venus in the semis. That said, Venus is a big dog to up and coming Timea Bacsinszky, a woman who many think could be the one to finally unseat Williams in Paris.

We really like how this draw setup for Garbine Muguruza, and we think she's going to be the woman to take on Williams in the finals. She's playing well having won six straight sets after dropping her first on Monday, and we don't foresee problems against the aging Svetlana Kuznetsova in the fourth round. Clear that hurdle, and there's nothing left in front of her with a pair of unranked players battling it out in the carnage-ridden Section 5 for the right to go to the semis.
