Soccer Odds - Champions League Preview for Tuesday, December 6

2016-Champions-League-Tuesday-Betting-Odds

If there's any moving and shaking left to do in the group stage of the Champions League, this is the week to do it. There's not a heck of a lot of drama left in the top half of the table, but three of the four group winners are still up in the air, and that's reason enough to tune into all of the action.

These Champions League duels will go down Tuesday, December 6, 2016, with most of the kickoffs taking place at 2:45 p.m. ET. The Bayern Munich/Atletico Madrid match will be televised live on ESPN2, while the Barcelona/Borussia Monchengladbach affair can be seen on FOX Sports 2.

Champions League Odds at BookMaker.eu

Barcelona ( -320 ) vs. Borussia Monchengladbach

Bayern Munich ( -165 ) vs. Atletico Madrid

Benfica ( +153 ) vs. Napoli

FC Basel ( +215 ) vs. Arsenal

Dynamo Kiev ( +202 ) vs. Besiktas

Manchester City ( -315 ) vs. Celtic

PSG ( -835 ) vs. Ludogorets Razgrad

PSV Eindhoven ( -156 ) vs. Rostov

Group A is basically done with at this point, and Arsenal probably isn't going to be trying all that hard against FC Basel. PSG needs three points against Ludogorets to win this group, and at -835 on the moneyline and a two-goal favorite, it's highly likely that's going to happen, and that would make the Gunners' game in Switzerland won't mean a heck of a lot. Both PSG and Arsenal are already into the last 16 of the UCL.

The most drama left is in Group B. All three of Napoli, Benfica and Besiktas all can win this group, and they can all end up out of the Champions League as well.

What we know is that Napoli is a point away from at least getting a spot in the last 16. The Italian side is in the driver's seat, but it has a big problem in that it has to go on the road and play against Benfica, and no team has managed a win on Portuguese soil yet in the Champions League.

What's worse for both of these teams is that Besiktas can sneak past them both if they both end up in a draw. However, it's not all fine and dandy for the Turkish side either. They need to go on the road to play against Dynamo Kiev. Granted, Dynamo hasn't won a game yet in this group, but this is its last chance to put together a good showing in its last European competition. If Besiktas wins this match, it's into the last 16. If it doesn't, both Napoli and Benfica will advance.

Group C is basically said and done with at this point. Sure, if Borussia Monchengladbach beats Barcelona and Celtic beats Manchester City with the total number of goals in the two margins of victory total at least six, the Citizens will ultimately end up dropping into the Europa League from the Champions League. But let's be honest; that isn't happening. We know that Barca is winning this group while Manchester City is going to finish second.

The same can really be said for Group D. Unlike in Group C where there are at least a few things that can change, we already know the finishing order in this group. Atletico Madrid has been fantastic, picking up five wins in five tries, including beating Bayern Munich at home earlier in the year. These two teams will be back at it again, albeit in what amounts to be no more than a scrimmage for both teams. Meanwhile at the bottom of the table, PSV Eindhoven and Rostov will play against each other as well in Holland.
