Who do bettors like at UFC 206 on Saturday night? The main event in Toronto has Max Holloway favored against Anthony Pettis in an interim featherweight title fight. There are five fights on the main pay-per-view portion of the card and seven on the preliminary card on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. This should be a very competitive card as there are no huge favorites and only four fights where the odds are more than 2-1. Let’s take a look at who bettors are taking on Saturday at UFC 206.

Max Holloway -210 vs. Anthony Pettis
Bettors have a very strong opinion on this fight as they have been pounding Holloway. The line on this fight opened with Holloway a -160 favorite and that number is now up to -210. This is the biggest fight of the weekend for bettors.
Pettis has not looked nearly as good lately as he did earlier in his career. Pettis won the lightweight title by beating Benson Henderson in 2013 and then beat Gilbert Melendez in a title defense. He then faced Rafael dos Anjos who pressured him to no end and Pettis lost the title. He has never been the same since losing to dos Anjos in March of last year. Eddie Alvarez pressured Pettis in the next fight in January of this year and won a split decision and then Edson Barboza dominated Pettis at UFC 197 in April. Pettis did bounce back to beat Charles Oliveira in his first fight at featherweight but beating Oliveria is one thing; beating Holloway is something else.
If the recent fights by Pettis are any indication he won’t be able to handle the pressure of Holloway but Pettis believes his move to 145 lbs has benefited him. “The cut to 145, it levels the playing field,” Pettis said. “I’m just as big as these guys, I’m stronger and they’re not going to hold me on the canvas, they’re not going to hold me on the cage because they don’t have the strength to do it.”
