Banged up Ben Bishop could become a liability in live betting for Tampa Bay Lightning against Chicago Blackhawks in Game 4 of Stanley Cup Finals

The Tampa Bay Lightning (64-33-3-5) and the Chicago Blackhawks (61-34-4-3) put on quite the show in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals in a fantastic 3-2 game which easily could have gone either way. More fantastic hockey could be on the horizon in Game 4, a game which is suddenly shaping up to be a must-win for the Blackhawks losing each of the last two in this series.

NO LEAD IS SAFE

It goes without saying that this has been a series which easily could have seen any of the three games go in either direction. However, this has become an incredibly notable series for live bettors from one major standpoint: Neither team has led by more than one goal at any point over the course of the three games.

Granted, the time is surely going to come when a team ekes out a couple goals in a row to take that elusive two-goal lead for sure, but until this mold is broken, we aren't going to get off of the bandwagon.

Even so, at the pace which this series has been played, two-, or even three-goal leads might not be all that safe, as both of these teams can score in a hurry. Don't believe us? Just look at the start of the third period when both teams scored in a span of 13 seconds of one another. Continue to back whichever team is losing, and odds have it, you'll end up with some really strong arbitrage in live betting.

BEATING THE BISHOP

Ben Bishop was the man in Game 3. He came up huge, stopping 36-of-38 shots in spite of the fact that it was a mystery why he was taken out of Game 2 twice and an even bigger mystery whether he would or wouldn't play on Monday.

Bishop might have put up his grittiest game of the postseason, and maybe his entire career, but he isn't right at the moment. Something on his left side is clearly bothering him, and he ended up allowing a lot of juicy rebounds. He was fortunate to not end up getting killed in Game 3, and if he continues to allow pucks to sit in front of him after the first shot without covering up, he's going to be in a lot of trouble.

Just know that one goal could lead to a lot more for the Blackhawks early in this game. We wouldn't be stunned if Bishop doesn't make it through this one.

POWER OUTAGE

The Lightning went almost a minute and a half with a two-man advantage in Game 3 and just weren't able to get a really good look at the target in the process. That's just 1-for-8 on the power play in this series now for Tampa Bay, a team which was scoring on over 25 percent of its man advantages here in the playoffs prior to the start of the Stanley Cup Finals.

The Blackhawks have had a stellar kill every step of the way though, and they drew some tremendous momentum from an otherwise drab period of hockey in the second period from that massive kill.

Tampa Bay's offense is still too strong and has too many weapons on it right now to bet against it when it is on the power play, but towards the ends of kills, Chicago could end up being the right side for live bettors.
