The 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard is the third PGA Tour Signature Event of the season, held at Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando, Florida. Competitive play begins Thursday, March 5, and runs through Sunday, March 8.

This legacy event (dating back to 1966, hosted by Palmer since 1979) has seen legends like Tiger Woods (multiple wins), Rory McIlroy (-18 in 2018), Scottie Scheffler (wins in 2022 and 2024), and others shine. It's a "proving ground" for elite players heading toward The Masters.

Bay Hill Club & Lodge ? Par 72, 7,466 yards. It's one of the PGA Tour's toughest tracks, featuring demanding Bermuda greens, strategic bunkering, water hazards, and a brutal finishing stretch (holes 16?18 often decide the event). The layout rewards precision iron play, strong approach shots, scrambling ability, and solid driving under pressure?wind and firm conditions can amplify difficulty.

The 72-player field is stacked with nearly all top-ranked players (top 50 OWGR heavily represented, plus qualifiers via Aon Next 10/Swing 5 from prior events like the Cognizant Classic). There is a full top-50 OWGR presence except for a couple (e.g., LIV-affiliated players like Patrick Reed or Tyrrell Hatton opting elsewhere).

Notable entrants include World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler (consistent contender here; multiple past strong showings), Rory McIlroy (2018 winner; loves the challenge), Tommy Fleetwood, Collin Morikawa (2025 runner-up), Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Ludvig Aberg, Viktor Hovland, Patrick Cantlay, Sam Burns, Jason Day, and more.

Get the latest PGA Tour Golf news, check out the current betting lines for the upcoming tournaments, and don?t miss the golf action, all with the best odds at BookMaker!

2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational Betting at Bookmaker

Arnold Palmer?s Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando, FL, is the venue for the 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational. The Tournament runs from Thursday, March 5, through Sunday, March 8, 2026, with television coverage on ESPN+, Golf Channel, Peacock, and NBC.

Bay Hill rewards strokes gained: approach, around-the-green, bogey avoidance, and putting on fast Bermuda surfaces?while punishing wild drives or poor iron play. Scheffler excels here (past wins in 2022/2024), but the gap to McIlroy feels wide given Rory's power, creativity on tough layouts, and 2018 win at Bay Hill.

2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational Odds

Scottie Scheffler: +295, Rory McIlroy: +940, Tommy Fleetwood: +1650, Xander Schauffele: +2200, Matt Fitzpatrick: +2500, Hideki Matsuyama: +2900, Russell Henley (defending 2025 champion): +2900, Collin Morikawa: +3000, Si Woo Kim: +3100, Robert MacIntyre: +3200, All Other Players +3300 or Higher

2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational Top Players

Scottie Scheffler

Scottie Scheffler is the clear standout heading into the 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational. As the World No. 1 and a two-time winner here (2022 and 2024), he's the overwhelming favorite.

Rory McIlroy

Rory McIlroy enters the 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational as the clear No. 2 favorite. He's World No. 2, motivated for Florida, and analysts note the market gap to Scheffler feels oversized. Wise Guys call him the "banker" or top value. Rory's off to a hot start post his stellar 2025.

Collin Morikawa

As the 2025 runner-up (lost by 1 to Russell Henley after leading late with a heartbreaking chip-in eagle on 16 by Henley), he's got unfinished business here. Morikawa snapped a long winless drought earlier this year and looks sharp heading into Florida.

Tommy Fleetwood

Tommy Fleetwood is a standout mid-tier contender. Fleetwood loves the Florida swing and has historically had multiple top-5s in Florida events. His game aligns perfectly with the demands of the renovated Bay Hill.

2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational Bookmaker Best Bets

Bay Hill demands all-around excellence?it's not a bomber's paradise but punishes mistakes severely. Players with prior Bay Hill success or momentum in the Florida Swing often thrive.

Scheffler brings elite ball-striking and consistency make him the clear favorite on a course that suits his game. McIlroy has power and creativity shine on tough layouts; he's overdue for a big 2026 win. Henley brings precise irons and short game, and can repeat if he handles pressure.

However, Collin Morikawa offers the enticing combination of ability and price. Morikawa?s strong iron play suits Bay Hill perfectly (runner-up in 2025), and recent form and course fit make him a standout each-way bet. The bigger names come with bigger price tags that eat into value. Morikawa is a Sharp?s type of bet.

Main Pick: Collin Morikawa

Player Prop Pick: Tommy Fleetwood Top10/20

Make your bets now at BookMaker and get fast Bitcoin payouts, the best odds available anywhere, and don?t forget about live betting at BookMaker Sportsbook!

http://sas.suplitodomedia.com/articles_images/thumbnails/pga-arnold-palmer-invitational-odds-and-preview.jpg2026 Puerto Rico Open Odds ? This setup results in a weaker field, with no top-tier stars like Scottie Scheffler or other elite players competing here. He earned full PGA Tour status through strong performances on the DP World Tour. Rasmus notably won the 2024 Amgen Irish Open, holding off Rory McIlroy for his fifth DP World Tour title.

He's made the cut in all starts, trending upward with improving finishes (T44, T30, T24, T9). Stats highlight strengths in driving (ranks high in total driving distance and accuracy) and putting, with elite short-game potential from his European success. Although he has no PGA Tour wins yet in 2026, his ceiling is high?long hitter with a smooth swing, and he's posted multiple top-10s/top-25s recently.

Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen

Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen, 26, is a Danish professional golfer from Niva (near Copenhagen), Denmark. He's a rising star who turned pro in June 2023 after a strong college career at Oklahoma State University (2018-2022), where he won twice, earned All-American honors, and helped the International team win the 2022 Arnold Palmer Cup.

As a 2026 PGA Tour rookie (via DP World Tour grad), he's shown consistency in limited starts. Those finishes were: Farmers Insurance Open: T49 (-5), WM Phoenix Open: T41 (-5), Cognizant Classic (Feb 26-Mar 1): T40 (-4).

Davis Thompson

Davis Thompson, 26, is an American professional golfer from Atlanta, Georgia. He turned pro in June 2021 after a standout college career at the University of Georgia (SEC Player of the Year in 2021). Thompson earned his PGA Tour card via the Korn Ferry Tour (won the 2022 Rex Hospital Open) and secured his breakthrough PGA Tour victory at the 2024 John Deere Classic.

He's made cuts in three of four starts but no top-40s yet?showing steady but unspectacular play. Stats highlight strengths in driving (length and some accuracy), but recent putting has been a drag (e.g., negative marks noted in Farmers).

2026 Puerto Rico Open Bookmaker Best Bets

Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen is a top outright value. His 2025 near-miss (solo 2nd, massive Sunday charge) indicates a strong fit. Recent PGA Tour cuts/top-40s show consistency as a rookie. Each-way/top-5/10 props here offer huge payout potential if he contends again. He captains Legion XIII and led his team to the 2025 Team Championship.

Bryson DeChambeau

Bryson DeChambeau is off to a decent start. He was a T17 at Riyadh and T3 at Adelaide (including a big drive and recovery birdie). He is currently ranked around 35th?36th in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), with strong points from recent performances despite LIV's limited points allocation.

David Puig

David Puig is a rising star in the game. Puig is known for his straight ball-striking, sharp short game, and bold career moves?most notably becoming the first college player to sign with LIV Golf while still at Arizona State University. Back-to-back LIV Golf Individual Champion (2024 and 2025 seasons).

Rahm joined LIV Golf in late 2023 and has been highly successful there. He's reaffirmed his commitment to the league and has no plans to return to the PGA Tour, despite any pathways.

In the 2026 LIV Golf season opener (Riyadh, the league's first 72-hole event), he finished runner-up to Elvis Smylie (Ripper GC), shooting a final-round 63 to close at -23. This placed him second in the early individual standings (behind Smylie).

His team, Legion XIII (defending team champions from last year), finished T4 in the team competition. He's currently ranked around 6th in the early 2026 individual standings after a strong T4 finish at LIV Golf Riyadh (the season opener, -20 total). He's ranked No. 87 in OWGR after gaining points from LIV events.

Bryson DeChambeau

DeChambeau is in the final year of his LIV contract but has said negotiations for an extension are "progressing positively," and there's "no doubt" he'll stay if they reach an "alignment point." He has expressed frustration with LIV's shift to 72-hole events in 2026. In the 2026 LIV Golf season opener in Riyadh, he finished T17 at -14, earning 12.5 points, and currently ranks around 19th in the early individual standings. He is now ranked 33rd on the OWGR.

Joaquin Niemann

Joaqu?n Niemann is widely considered one of the top performers in the LIV. He's the captain of Torque GC and holds the record for the most individual wins in LIV Golf history (7 as of early 2026). Niemann enters 2026 as LIV's winningest player and a prime contender for the Individual Championship.

Niemann is ranked 161st on the OWGR, but his ranking doesn't reflect his skill level (often called one of the world's best). He's been vocal about OWGR "unfairness" in limiting points to the top 10 and not treating LIV equally.

In the 2026 LIV Golf season opener, he finished T22 at -13 and earned 10.18 points. It?s scheduled for Tuesday, March 3. The match airs live on ESPN and streams on ESPN+ or the ESPN app.

The biggest storyline for this match is the probable return of Tiger Woods to the Jupiter Links lineup. Tee time is at 9 p.m. ET with television coverage on ESPN.

The match could feature high drama, live audio banter, viral moments from Kevin Kisner or Min Woo Lee, and possible OT if it's close. SoFi Center's setup favors precision teams like The Bay.

The Bay Golf Club enters as the favorite in betting markets, reflecting their superior metrics (better holes won, singles performance) and roster firepower (Ludvig Aberg, Wyndham Clark, Min Woo Lee, Shane Lowry) vs. Jupiter Links inconsistencies (league-low singles holes won at 4, despite Tiger Woods, Max Homa, Tom Kim, Kevin Kisner upside).

The Bay Golf Club

So far, the Bay Golf Club has a 2-2-0 record (4 points), with 17 holes won, and 7 singles holes won. They've shown flashes of dominance (e.g., strong in certain phases), but they've also been inconsistent, including losses in key spots. Recent form includes a win over New York (5-3 on Feb 24), which boosted playoff chances. They rank mid-pack but have upside in Triples with long-drive threats like Lee and Clark.

The Bay enters favored, with better overall metrics (17 HW vs. Jupiter's 13) and roster depth for both Triples (team strategy/long drives) and Singles. Aberg and Clark provide firepower, while Lowry/Lee add versatility?ideal for the tech-heavy SoFi Center. Their recent win over NY shows their ability to close when focused.

Jupiter Links Golf Club

So far, Jupiter Links has a 1-2-0 record (2 points), with 13 holes won, and 4 singles holes won (league-low in many categories). Struggles include early losses (e.g., to New York 8-3 on Jan 13, Los Angeles 8-4 on Jan 20) and only one win (likely vs. Atlanta earlier). Singles play has been a weakness, but Tiger Woods' presence near his Florida base could spark motivation in this finale.

Jupiter has a star upside (Woods/Homa could dominate if in form), especially with this as their season finale near home turf for Woods. Their lone win proves upset potential, but poor singles (4 HW) and bottom rankings make consistency tough. This is do-or-die for playoff hopes?expect aggression, but The Bay's balance likely prevails.

The Bay Golf Club vs. Jupiter Links Golf Club Best Bets

Sharps believe that the Bay wins in regulation with room to spare. Tee time is at 7 p.m. ET with television coverage on ESPN2.

LA's popularity with gamblers stems from Collin Morikawa's iron precision, Tommy Fleetwood/Justin Rose experience, and Sahith Theegala's all-around game?strong in Triples and Singles.

New York (Xander Schauffele, Matt Fitzpatrick, Cameron Young, Rickie Fowler) has major-winning firepower and long-drive threats, but has struggled with consistency and closing (low singles holes won at 6).

Los Angeles Golf Club

Los Angeles Golf Club brings a 2-2-0 record (4 points), with 21 holes won and 7 singles holes won. Recent form includes a strong 7-3 primetime win over Atlanta Drive GC (defending champs) on February 23/24 in a doubleheader, boosting their playoff push. They've shown consistency in precision play and clutch moments, like improved Hammer usage. Losses include earlier setbacks, but they're climbing (currently 3rd in standings per recent updates).

LA enters as the favorite, riding momentum from their recent dominant 7-3 upset over Atlanta (improving their hole-won edge and jumping in the standings). Their roster excels in precision and strategy?Morikawa's iron play, Rose's experience, Theegala/Fleetwood's all-around game?making them strong in both Triples (team) and Singles phases. They've been efficient on key holes and less prone to blowups compared to earlier in the season.

New York Golf Club

So far, New York has a 1-3-0 record (2 points), with 16 holes won, and 6 singles holes won. Struggling with consistency?recent results include a loss to Boston Common Golf (likely on Feb 24/25) and earlier defeats. They've shown flashes (e.g., competitive in some phases), but rank near the bottom and need wins to avoid elimination. This is a must-win or near-must-win for playoff hopes.

NY has talent (Schauffele/Fitzpatrick major pedigree, Young/Fowler firepower), but their 1-3-0 start highlights issues in closing matches and singles (only 6 holes won). Losses to top teams like Boston show vulnerabilities against depth. This is essentially a playoff-elimination game for NY?if they lose, max points likely cap at 4, tough with tiebreakers favoring others.

Los Angeles Golf Club vs. New York Golf Club Best Bets

The SoFi Center's neutral/tech setup favors teams with strong virtual adaptation; LA has adapted better lately. Expect LA to control Triples early, with NY needing big singles comebacks (possible via Schauffele or Young long drives).

Sharps believe that Los Angeles will decisively win in regulation by multiple points. LA's form, metrics, and motivation to lock in a top-4 spot give them a clear edge. If NY steals early Hammers or forces OT, it could get close.

Gamblers should watch for mic'd-up intensity from Fitzpatrick or Morikawa. This could be a high-scoring, entertaining affair with playoff implications on the line.

Wise guys will back the LA team-side bets (moneyline/spread) for reliability, then add Morikawa. Matches involving these teams have been competitive but not always high-scoring. Also, sharps lean under if the total exceeds 12 combined holes won.

Main Pick: Los Angeles Golf Club

Over/Under Pick: Under the Total

Player Prop Pick: Collin Morikawa to Win his Singles

Make your bets now at BookMaker and get fast Bitcoin payouts, the best odds available anywhere, and don?t forget about live betting at BookMaker Sportsbook!

http://sas.suplitodomedia.com/articles_images/thumbnails/tgl-los-angeles-golf-club-vs-new-york-golf-club-odds-and-preview.jpgLIV Golf Invitational Series Odds - European Tour Betting/articles/golf/european/liv-golf-invitational-series-odds-european-tour-betting-99173/articles/golf/european/liv-golf-invitational-series-odds-european-tour-betting-99173Phil SimonEuropeanThursday, March 17, 2022
<div ">

For years, in fact for all the years, the PGA Tour has been the only game in town for golf pros. Sure there?s the DP World Tour in Europe, the developmental Korn Ferry Tour and of course the Champions Tour for aging veterans. But for those who have game in the prime of their careers, the PGA stop is the only way to go.

That?s all about to change, though, thanks to the deep pockets of a Saudi Arabian-based investment firm ponying up a boatload of money for a breakaway golf league. The new league recently said it plans to stage eight tournaments in 2022. The LIV Golf Invitational Series will start in London in June and feature four events played in the United States with seven regular season tournaments and a team match-play finale championship in late October.

LIV Golf Invitational Series 2022 Schedule

June 9-11 ? Boston, Massachusetts

Sept. 16-18 ? Chicago, Illinois

Oct. 7-9 ? Bangkok, Thailand

Oct. 14-16 ? Saudi Arabia

Oct. 28-30 - TBD

If money can attract the biggest names in golf the league will have some of the top players. The Series will reportedly offer a combined $255 million in prize money with each of the seven regular season events having a $25 million purse. By contrast the richest tournament on the PGA Tour is THE PLAYERS Championship that offers a $20 million prize pool.

Given Saudi Arabia?s record on human rights many players have already distanced themselves from the upstart venture. Top-ranked players like Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas and Collin Morikawa have already done so while a few others like Bryson DeChambeau came around later.

Still, there were players who have shown an interest in the new concept, most notably Phil Mickelson. Lefty was harshly criticized for comments he made saying he was willing to overlook the country?s crimes in order to change how the PGA Tour operates. Lee Westwood is another player apparently on board with the new venture.

Former professional golfer Greg Norman is the face of the new league. A golf Hall of Famer, 20-time winner on the PGA Tour and former world No. 1 player, he gives it some credibility. And he?s involved for the right reasons. ?I want golf to grow, players to have additional opportunities, and fans to have more fun. My mission is to help the game reach its full potential and we know the role of golf as an entertainment product is critical to overall participation in the sport,? he said in a release.

As of this writing there are no players in the Series. But there is a format for each tournament that differs from the PGA Tour. According to the Series, the first year would cap each event at 48 players with 12 four-man teams determined by a draft the week of the event. ?We?ve done our best to create a schedule that allows players to play elsewhere while still participating in our events. I believe players will increasingly make progress in achieving their right to play where they want,? Norman continued.

There are details that need to be ironed out, most notably getting players on board. And we?ve seen a number of top golfers play tournaments in the Middle East with the hope of getting a chunk of the large prize money. Of course, playing one tournament in Saudi Arabia is much different than playing an entire eight-match season and players certainly don?t want to get hammered the way Mickelson did.

But in the long run money talks. And I?m sure we?ll see some PGA Tour defectors despite the potential fallout. While the PGA Tour doesn?t seem overly concerned at this point, it has said a tour card will be revoked for good for any player that participates in the new league. That doesn?t sound like the PGA Tour is all in on growing the sport.

BookMaker offers play-by-play betting odds for live sporting events every day! Along with a select number of invites the field has just 53 golfers. With no cut line the entire field will battle for four days at the magnificent Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates. The only host this event has ever known plays at 7,675 yards and par 72, and is one of the Middle East?s top courses. The length may seem scary but it really isn?t with wide fairways and large greens keeping balls in play. That?s reflected in past scores with all but one winner carding 15-under or better. Big hitters rock this course but there is something for everyone. The layout offers a variety of holes and requires every stick in the bag.

DP World Tour Championship Matchup Picks

Matt Fitzpatrick -105 vs. Abraham Ancer

The defending champ became a two-time winner with his 1-shot victory last year, and with a chance of winning the R2D crown you can bet Fitzpatrick will let it all hang out. A lot has to go right in order for him to overtake the likes of Collin Morikawa and Billy Horschel, and it starts with him winning the outright. He got into contention with his win in the Andalucia Masters last month. And you can?t ignore his results here; 6 for 6 with two wins and an additional three top-12s. I was surprised to see him at this price and will happily throw down on him in this matchup.

Collin Morikawa +113 vs. Rory McIlroy

I couldn?t pass on a matchup of the top two favorites; I just couldn?t decide who to back. In the end I went with Morikawa because of the plus-odds price. McIlroy has chewed up this course over his career, so I might regret my decision. But I can?t go wrong backing Morikawa, who followed up the Ryder Cup victory with a runner-up in the CJ CUP and a T7 in the ZOZO. In his debut here last year he was T10, so it looks like things are aligned for him to win the R2D race.

Callum Hill -115 vs. Justin Harding

It?s already been a season to remember for Hill, who posted his first ET win a few months ago in the Cazoo Classic. He also flashed his skill in the desert landscape with a T4 earlier this year in Saudi Arabia giving him four top-5s among his seven top-10s this season. Stats wise he?s a nice fit for this layout and we?ve had enough of a sample size to take that into account.

Garrick Higgo -110 vs. Rasmus Hojgaard

Higgo is another player who fits the mold of success on this layout. Wide fairways and big greens will certainly help his mammoth drives and a little touch on the dance floor will have him contending for the outright. Higgo showed he can play at this level with a pair of ET wins and a PGA Tour title in close succession. He got acquainted with the course last year posting a T14 and should be in better shape this time around, which is why I?m backing him.

Tommy Fleetwood -115 vs. Sergio Garcia

Given his history in the Middle East and his success at this course, it?s hard not to back Fleetwood. It hasn?t been a bad season for him; it just hasn?t been what we?re used to seeing. He hasn?t won in two years, but he?s closing the season with a flurry heading to one of his favorite spots on a run of solid form. His T13 at the Dubai Championship last week was his worst finish in his last four ET starts. He won the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship in back-to-back years and he has three top-10s in his last five DP starts. I think Fleetwood is worth the risk.

BookMaker offers play-by-play betting odds for live sporting events every day!
