The moment we were hoping for has finally arrived. Seoul’s loss to the Los Angeles Valiant on Wednesday night blew the door wide open for the last spot in the Stage One Playoffs. With a win, Seoul could have all but locked up the spot, but the loss opens the door to a five-way race over the last few days.
Now, Houston, Philadelphia, Boston, Seoul, and the Valiant will be jockeying for that spot. All five teams have a decent chance of making it, and there are plenty of pseudo-elimination games in the coming days.

Overwatch League Week Four Betting Odds
New York Excelsior -138 London Spitfire +100
This game will essentially be for the No. 1 overall seed in the Stage One Playoffs. Both New York and London are 7-1 entering the final week of Stage 1 and both have relatively easy matches earlier in the week for their final games.
London has finally started to get solid play out of its second DPS. Birdring has been one of the top DPS players all season long and he should be even more dangerous now that Profit is playing well. Profit was the player that the Spitfire were expecting to rise to the occasion, and he has finally done just that. He complemented Birdring well in their sweep of Seoul last week, but there is still the question of finding a reliable second support. Bdosin is incredible, but no other support has really stood out.
Big Boss Pine is no longer a third map specialist. New York has finally decided to go with Pine as the complement to Saebyeolbe, and the duo dominated the competition last week. Pine has reeled in his gung-ho style of play enough for the team to trust him in different game types. There is no denying his talent, and he may be the best one-on-one player in the league.
Take the Excelsior in this one. This is a meta where supports carry the day and Jjonak and Ark have been fantastic this season. Their synergy has been apparent, while other support duos have been falling left and right.
Boston Uprising +150 Houston Outlaws -200
Give credit to Boston for being this competitive in Stage 1. The Uprising were thought to be a team that needed some time to put it together, but Huk’s strategy of building a team with chemistry as the most important factor has paid off. Few teams get more out of practice and this team has run some very interesting strategies that exploit weaknesses in their opponents.
However, they are taking on one of the hottest teams in the league at the moment. Houston has looked fantastic over the last three weeks and will have Linkzr back in the lineup after he missed both matches last week due to illness. The combination of Jake and Linkzr has been one of the best DPS tandems around, and Muma has been an exceptional tank. Swallow the chalk and back the Outlaws here.
Philadelphia Fusion -2500 Florida Mayhem +800
Speaking of sensational DPS tandems, ShadowBurn and Carpe have continued to be great. ShadowBurn uses Genji’s ultimate better than almost any other player in the league and Carpe has made some incredible plays on Tracer. This team has been one of the most aggressive ones in Overwatch, but the tank play hasn’t always been there.
Florida is looking forward to Stage 2 at this point. The Mayhem have some talent, but they need subs as Cwoosh is just not good enough to start every day at this point in his career. Florida may win one map off of Philadelphia, but that will be it.
