League of Legends All-Star Tournament Betting

The Koreans have dropped a game at All-Stars. For the first time ever, Korea looks vulnerable as the top team in the world and the LCK might not win the All-Star Tournament. Sure, this is largely an exhibition, but the Koreans are usually so talented that they roll right over every other team. The LCK All-Stars fell to the LMS All-Stars as Zoe went through the ban phase and FoFo first picked it. The new overpowered champion was hard to stop and Faker was unable to do much against her on Taliyah. She should be banned out all day on Friday unless teams want to continue to experiment with or against her.

League of Legends 2017 All-Stars Betting Odds

EU LCS -365
TPL +290

We only saw each of these teams once yesterday and with each side sitting at 0-1, this is an elimination match. The TCL All-Stars played very well against the LMS considering what they did against the Koreans earlier on that night and were able to mitigate Zoe in the mid-game by zoning her out. Meanwhile, Europe was just unable to do much against the Koreans in their match as Faker took the game over on Malzahar.

Europe is the rightful favorite heading into this one, but Turkey is a live dog. The Turkish side showed good communication in its loss to the LMS and that is key in a format like this.

NA LCS -380
GPL +310

Continue to fade the GPL any chance you get. Four of the five players that were supposed to be part of this team ran into visa issues and couldn’t get into the country. That led to a brutal loss in their opener against China, as the Chinese side ran roughshod over them and averaged almost a kill a minute in a sub-25 minute victory.

North America will want to do well with the home crowd cheering them on and they know a win here essentially secures them a spot in the Semifinals. They will be able to get the victory in this one.

LMS -125
EU LCS +105

This will be one of the most highly anticipated matches of the second day, just because of whether or not the Europeans will allow FoFo to play Zoe and BeBe to play Jhin. Those two champions dominated against both the Turks and the Koreans and it seems clear that the LMS side is taking this tournament more seriously than most teams typically do.

I think Europe will get the win here as they move to ban both Zoe and Jhin and force the Taiwanese team to outplay them.

CBLOL -165
GPL +140

This line should be higher. Although the best in Brazil did lose to both Turkey and Vietnam at MSI and Worlds, it’s hard to overstate the impact that those visa issues had with the Southeast Asian squad. Essentially, a team was cobbled together overnight and these guys haven’t had much time to practice together. As long as Levi is not allowed to take the game over in the first 10 minutes, CBLOL should roll.

LCK -846
TCL +595

Yes, this is a lot of chalk, but Korea needs to win this game in order to at least assure itself of getting to a tiebreaker for one of the three Semifinals spots. It’s hard to see Turkey standing much of a chance as long as the Koreans take this even somewhat seriously.

LPL -520
CBLOL +390

The Brazilians could be a very live underdog in this one if things play out a certain way. China is on top of its group, but might want to avoid playing Korea in the Semifinals and may need to drop this one in order to do that. There could be some gamesmanship involved so keep an eye on how earlier matches play out before wagering on this one.
