Team SoloMid continues to wreak havoc on the rest of the North American region of League of Legends and looks poised to make another strong playoff push after faltering in the Spring Playoffs. TSM is 8-0 and looks to be far and away the best team with Counter Logic Gaming out of the playoff picture at the moment. Can TSM continue its march and win its first title since last season’s Spring Playoffs? Join us as we break down this week’s League of Legends betting action.

TSM -3100

Phoenix1 +1200

This is the biggest mismatch of the year. TSM has been utterly dominant and has only dropped three matches all season long. TSM is the only team to have received a bid to all five League of Legends World Championships and even though it lost all but one of its players in the offseason, signed some top level talent and has stayed at the top of the food chain in North America. One of the players that TSM brought in, AD Carry Doublelift, was the longest tenured veteran on Counter Logic Gaming, TSM’s main rival traditionally and that has only fanned the flames between what were considered the two best North American teams coming into the Summer Split.

Phoenix1 is at the other end of the spectrum and sits in the cellar of the NA LCS at 0-8. The team has only won three games all season long and has been swept in five of its eight matches. Phoenix1 just hasn’t been able to keep up with the rest of the competition after buying Team Impulse’s spot in the Summer Split and looks like a lock to be relegated at this point. It will have a very difficult time against TSM and that’s why Phoenix1 is the biggest underdog of the season.

CLG -270

NRG +210

It’s time for Counter Logic Gaming to wake up. CLG won the last two North American playoffs over TSM and placed second to Korean powerhouse SK Telecom T1 at the Mid-Season Invitational, but hasn’t been the same team in the Summer Split. CLG sits at just 3-5 and has yet to defeat a team with a winning record this season. Top laner Darshan has come under increased criticism as the game’s meta has become dependent on the top lane and he has struggled to hold his own against the competition. Most still believe that CLG will rally into the playoffs, but it needs a win here badly.

NRG is 2-6 and its only two victories are against the worst two teams in NA LCS. After a disappointing Spring Split, it completely changed up its roster, but the results have been lacking to this point. GBM has a ton of talent and has displayed it, but NRG has not gelled as a whole and it lacks the synchronization teams need to achieve success.

Immortals -210

Cloud9 +170

While the TSM-CLG showdown will receive most of the attention on July 4, the match between Immortals and Cloud9 is more important. Immortals is just a game back of TSM at 7-1, while Cloud9 is a two games back at 6-2. Immortals defeated Cloud9 2-1 in the first week of the season, but Cloud9 has a good shot at pulling off the upset this time around.

Sneaky has been one of the strongest players for Cloud9 this split and he showed how talented he is against Team Envy last week. Cloud9 played fantastic as a team in Game 1 of the series, but then Sneaky took over in Game 2. Sneaky scored a pentakill to seal the match and a 2-0 win for Cloud9. Cloud9 is coming together at the right time and is a very live dog here.
