CS:GO Esports Championship Series Season 4 Betting Odds
Fnatic -275
Luminosity +220

Despite jumpy stepping in to replace flusha in recent weeks, Fnatic has looked like one of the top teams in the world and is probably the favorite to win Group A. Fnatic knocked off OpTic Gaming 2-1 last week and the only team that has consistently gotten the better of them is FaZe. However, this team has consistently struggled to get it done in the knockout stages and have yet to win an event this year.

Luminosity is in that tier of very good, but not great, teams. The Brazilians are good enough to beat some of the lower-ranked elite teams, but have continually lost to the best when they have squared off this season. They lost to Fnatic last week and have been an also-ran at elite tournaments since there roster was signed by SK Gaming last year.

Mousesports -150
OpTic Gaming +125

Mousesports is one of those teams that has found ways to continue to be competitive. They did not perform well in ESL Pro League, but have done well at the ECS and picked up second place at DreamHack Winter two weeks ago. osKar has had a very good season and ropz looks like an up and coming star for this organization.

OpTic did well to make it out of the bracket at IEM XII Oakland and is still coming together as a team. Four members joined just four months ago and they have been sprinting from event to event in order to get more familiarity with each other and build chemistry. OpTic performed well last week at ESL Pro League Season 6, but was bounced by Fnatic in the Quarterfinals.

Cloud9 -115
Astralis -105

Just a few months ago you would not have thought that Cloud9 would ever be favored over Astralis. However, Cloud9 has won two major tournaments in just as many months and has come together as a team. The core of Skadoodle, Stewie2K, and autimatic have shined and the new additions of RUSH and Tarik have brought out the team’s best. They looked very good at IEM XII too before falling to FaZe.

Astralis is not at its best right now. RUBINO is subbing in for dev1ce in this tournament and the Danes are not the team they were at the start of the season. They crashed and burned at ESL Pro League Season 6 last week and at IEM XII. The only reason this is a relative pick ‘em is because of Astralis’ reputation.

FaZe -390
Team Liquid +295

Team Liquid has not been playing well lately and they should probably be a larger underdog than this. They have lost to Luminosity, Fnatic, and FaZe (twice) in recent weeks, and the only decent team they have beat is an Astralis squad missing one of its stars.

Meanwhile, FaZe is looking to end their season on high note after getting beat by rival SK Gaming last week. They might be odds-on or close enough to it to win this whole tournament with their superstar lineup.
