2022 League of Legends LCS Spring Split Week 7

The first playoff ticket has been punched in the LCS Spring Split. Cloud9 locked up a spot in the playoffs with their win over Team Liquid last Sunday, and they now have the inside track on the No. 1 seed in the playoffs with an 11-2 record. Team Liquid will likely lock up the second postseason spot this week, but there will be a real battle for the final few playoff spots. The penultimate week of the 2022 LCS Spring Split can help shake things out or muddle them up further.

2022 League of Legends LCS Spring Split Week 7 Betting Odds

100 Thieves -376

Immortals +270

It’s been a disappointing split for the defending champions. 100 Thieves are in third place in the LCS standings, but they have had to win their last three matches to get to 8-5. Abbedagge hasn’t been as strong in the mid lane as he was last year, and Closer has been too reliant on Lee Sin in the jungle.

Immortals are in second-to-last place in the table, but they have a decent chance of pulling off the upset. PowerOfEvil can outplay Abbedagge in the mid lane, and Xerxe has the potential to counter Closer in the jungle if the bottom lane can hold its own.

Counter Logic Gaming +355

Team Liquid -525

This is a great opportunity to back Team Liquid. Despite their disappointing loss to C9 last weekend, they are the most talented team in North America with the highest ceiling. Bjergsen has been elite in the mid lane, and Santorin has been arguably the best jungler in the region too. No one on this team is playing poorly, and they have a significant talent advantage over Counter Logic Gaming.

CLG are getting a little too much hype after winning both their matches last week. They beat two middle of the pack teams in FlyQuest and Golden Guardians to pull themselves out of the cellar, but this team isn’t playing particularly well.

Cloud9 -1011

Team SoloMid +567

We have seen Cloud9 continue to prove the doubters wrong over the last four weeks. C9 have won eight straight matches, and they can lock themselves into one of the top two seeds in the playoffs this week. Fudge has outperformed all expectations in the mid lane with an incredible 6.8 KDA, and the decision to bring in Summit and Berserker from Korea has played off tremendously.

Team SoloMid really challenged C9 in their last meeting and should have won that match, but it looks like TSM are about to give up. The most prominent team in the LCS has had its most abysmal split, and they will probably finish in dead last.

Dignitas +100

Evil Geniuses -127

Frustrating doesn’t begin to describe what we’ve seen from Evil Geniuses this split. They looked set to be a strong team after a nice performance in the Lock In Tournament, but they have muddled around .500 all season. Jojopyun has really had a rough go of it in the mid lane, and Impact is no longer the difference maker in the top lane he was in the past.

However, Evil Geniuses knocked off Dignitas earlier in the season and should do so again this week. Dignitas are riding a two-game winning streak, but they beat the two worst teams in the LCS last week.

FlyQuest -117

Golden Guardians -108

This is a huge game for Golden Guardians. A loss probably means they will miss out on the playoffs once again, while a victory puts them right back into the thick of things. They have lost four straight games, so this is a huge week with FlyQuest and Dignitas on the docket.
